What did you notice? If you want to leave out all the other spokes, yeah you get a pot leaf. But what's the point in that?

You know, to get back to the point of this thread, these experiments show that marijuana isn't very toxic compared even to caffine. Still, it makes no sense to use these spiders to test toxicity, because based on this, marijuana IS somewhat toxic, but that is untrue in reality, it is one of the LEAST toxic substances known to man. Thus, the spiders can't be used to test toxicity.

again, ill say it, unless i was stoned before and only thought id said it, how do these tests check for toxicidy? wouldnt they test for the psychological affect on the spiders? and though weed isnt toxic, its still a chemical, and to a spider, couldbe overwhealming. insects could take rather differently to substances we find harmless.

Hey StonerBill (and anyone else who enjoys a good laugh), the filename of that video is Funny Videos - LSD Being Tested on British Troops.mpg

I found it by searching for LSD, not many videos were found. I'm not sure if its real, but I find it funny either way.

Which is another reason that this is a waste of both NASA's time and our tax money.

it is a waste of money but keep in mind how much this proboly cost compared to million doller missiles just to test and use

i wonder if they have a spider high everyday if hell start to build a comfortable web with lairs and all intricate they should try that

joking aside, i think people have misconceptions as to how smart spiders are (or how not-smart) when making a web. they dont look at the web and design it in their minds, they have an instinctial structure of web making in their little minds, and so anythiung that affects their mind is probably going to affect their web for the worse, since its pretty perfected as it is...
