Thats awsome. I dont really know why NASA is doing these tests, but the webs are sick looking.

I'm surprised the spider on pot made any web at all... god knows I wouldn't.

That drawing on acid sight is very interesting. The picture on stage 6 is amazing! I downloaded a similar video on kazaa lite. The only difference is the subjects were soldiers carrying out a military exercise. Funny stuff indeed!

 

yeah I loved when he got startled by the floor--but I have to say all this is fascinating, I love seeing this visual type of "test" I think it's interesting that both the Marijuana and LSD webs have a wedge missing from the webs. I'd like the know if this happens to serve a purpose scientifically. Like maybe the missing wedge makes a superior web.

 

Um, no, clearly it just leaves a big gap for flies to go through safely.

You know, I kinda wonder what the hell NASA is doing running experiments putting spiders on drugs and watching them build webs. Is this a credible use of tax money in a governmental scientific organization, the same organization that put men on the moon and sent probes to the edges of the solar system? Why are they messing around with this stuff? And why do the spiders get drugs and we don't? What the fuck, man?

 

I spider got so caught up in working on one specific spot that he forgot about the big empty part. C'mon...you can't tell me that's never happened to you when you were high.

about those experiemnts, when it says toxicidy... how does the web making have a show on teh toxicidy of the drug? wouldnt it jsut go to show how spiders under the influence of different drugs create different webs? showing a video of the spiders would be pretty awesome i recon.

It isn't speed, but I thought benzedrine (or bennies) had the same effect: energy energy energy! I could be wrong, I'm not all that knowledgable about uppers.

 

Benzedrine is an old brand name for amphetamine. These tests were done in the 1950s, IIRC.
