We had Latin in high school, I highly recommend it. Its good for logical thinking. Seriously, I love Latin. I also learned Italian for about a year, I'd like to learn it properly, but now right now. French is my priority. I also think Arabic would be nice and useful.
Vi ure cumplite puseis ju surendoured et warld waugh tut e hait jeus. That's as good as my French gets.
Could you speak slower. I figured since we're doing tourist phrases. Oh yeah, and I'm great. Ich ist kein (?) doof.
Ahh.. Tyvm! My Thought Process: 'Ich Bin nein doof' nah, that's not right.. I'll just go with Kein and fingers crossed.
Good thinking ! Only not so good. Anyways, I'd also like to learn Portuguese, I think it sounds just lovely ! But I cannot imagine it being useful
I speak some Spanish, but my vocabulary and understanding of the grammar is rather lacking. I used to be decent; if I spend more than three months in a Spanish speaking country, I'll be more than functional.
I took 2 years in highschool, which teaches nearly nothing, besides some basic vocabullary, and one year in college. Don't speak it anywhere NEAR fluently, but am getting better and better because my boss speaks it often, and just being in San Antonio I'm hearing it with a lot more regularity. I can usually pick up on what people are talking about but not exactly what is being said.
i've learned a few words in the past couple days at work. i'm trying to pick it up, since a lot of the workers speak spanish...
