rain water and bugs = way better than shitty chemicals used in most hydro setups IMHO

i only ever buy bush buds, all the hydro i've ever smoked has made me sick/paranoid

 

pheonix if you buy good outdoors its got the same chems in it as hydro for growth.

if you grow outdoors you should still use a soil mix. still put it in pots and not the ground so you can manage the soil.

your supposed to flush it all out before you harvest, so there shouldnt be chems left when it gets to the consumer. if there are, thats called beasters and thats even worse then dirt.

the only negative about hydro is the lack of flavour due to lack of real sun

 

holy crap. overreactions much? i think growing your own (however you do it) is more responsible than buying, unless you know the person who grew it and know how they grew it. at least if you grow your own you do know exactly what you're getting. who cares if it's bushweed? if it makes him happy, leave him alone. if he wants to do some research and invest some time and money into growing something nicer, good for him. either way- i think it's cool that he's growing at all. and maybe i misunderstood but i got the impression it wasn't actually on his parents property? just near it?

Unless he happens to live in an area where acid rain falls regularly, rain water is pretty fucking clean.

Nature's pretty good at giving plants exactly what they need, it's usually the human element that screws things up.

If Seth wants to plant some pot plants in his woods thats his business.

Its just a plant and itll grow, but if you want to improve the quality your gonna of course have to put more money and effort into it. I wouldn't be so mad at some seedlings getting snagged half of them were going to die anyways. Just regrow in a new area and pick the males and you'll still get some decent outdoor sensimilla, better than straight bagseed bud you buy that is all curado and sprayed with shit to cross the checkpoints. Outdoor grows in forest seem fine to me and what potsmoker doesnt try growing a plant when he lives with his parents its just curiousity.

Also, outdoor can be just as good as indoor... I've seen some amazing grows done in both and smoked some amazing stuff grown outdoors, nothing wrong with going back to nature

I am sure he grew it outside of his property. And most of the time from what I've seen, if you get caught, unless it is a huge field, they just destroy whatever you've grown and his parents wouldn't get in trouble.

And if he wanted to grow it and smoke it, well he isn't giving it to you guys so who the hell cares? It is his shit and his business what he wants to smoke.

Sucks that someone took them but like others said, find a new spot and start over. And don't check on it so openly or frequently.

 

Yeah dude that sucks, but it is the risk that you take when growing somewhere that people might find interest in. Even so, I'd be disappointed.

I was about to post the exact same thing.

 

Sorta in the same category but when I was 15 this girl came over and went swimming so she borrowed some shorts of mine. When she changed into her clothes she took forever to come downstairs. So a few days later while doing laundry I found a pair of panties that were not mine and they were uhm really rank and dirty. I threw them out and then went to put my laundry away and realized a pair of my favorite undies were missing. I suspect she exchanged her underpants with mine. Never let her in my room again. First of all, I'm SHOCKED that the dreadlock form, where free-form natural locks are king, is harboring people(person? i cant count..) opposed to the most natural way of cultivating a plant..

Second, lol of course someone stole your plants.. you left them outside.. What did you think would happen?

Third, don't do illegal things then tell people about it.. That means: no telling people you're growing in the first place and no complaining to the internet about your illegal contraband being stolen.. it's just not a good idea. I mean sure, theoretically LEO's should be out stopping real crimes from happening, but why take the chance?

Alternatively, move to CA and get a damned medical MJ dr's recommendation and you can grow in your kitchen window like I do :rofl:
