Join Date02-02-2008Haha. Well it's from the Island by Aldous Huxley. It still has some relevance, but I am way more speculative. Plus in 2008 I really didn't understand what Moksha was. Thought it was just enlightenment.

But still I am open that through the expansion of consciousness by whatever means that perhaps we gain the essential awareness of the deepest layer that perhaps can not be destroyed by Death and Rebirth.

An update to this thread, as I feel like I will continue to do. I'll consider this home in a sense.

    An example.

I came to college in August of 2009. With full knowledge of the experience that was..my father. Haha. A kid named Marty appears. Looks high..."You burn?" I ask. He laughs because he does. For the first few days of being at school before the start of classes we are constantly high. I think that is completely irrelevant to the point, and so is this, but story telling! I tell him about the upcoming Allman Brothers concert near by, and he had already saw them this tour, but we decide to go on that upcoming saturday. We already have it in our minds that we're going to trip. So Saturday comes and we've made the short roadtrip and in the lot I ingest 4 hits, as he consumes some mushrooms (though I am unaware of how much). We enter the concert, he completely loses his mind, and after a period of deadness to the environment (the whole while I had the most outgoing acid trip ever, I talked to so may people) he wakes to run where his panic tells him too. So a goodchunk of the show is me frying on acid running around after a kid spun out on mushies. I kept him from trouble, I sure fucking did (which is a whole story of its own), but the whole experience was grand, especially with midnight rider in the forefront. Turns out he ate a quarter and a chocolate.

Though completely irrelevant to the point, after this we are no doubt bonded. So thus begins another real relationship. Wasn't long before I started noticing some synchronicities. Not between I and him, but between he and my ... my ... father?

Where do I start? I'd say the first would be his general attitude of peace towards people. Something I admire oh so much about my father. It hard to explain all the synchronicites, but very so much imbedded in all the little things he says. Their humbleness is so similar. Then I start noticing little behaviors even some things that irritated me about my father like the noises they make with their mouth. Some of the ways they think I ought to be come through as well, and this kind of irritates me. The irritation isn't part of the picture though, I'm just saying there are so many similarities. I thought he'd be another father figure to me, but he turned out to be a peer of mind that has much of the same light as my father.

Weird thing is, he met a woman from my hometown, and she turns out to be way too similar to my mother.

    Something or other.

    Well more to come.
