I think the strongest liquor I've ever had was sake.. saque.. whatever it's spelled

 

Ever had vodka, whiskey, rum, or pretty much any other hard liquor?

They are all stronger than sake.

it was some clear extremely strong japanese liquor.. I thought it was sake..

it felt like fire going down my throat.. didn't even feel the liquid sensation..

 

Sake is what you're thinking of, and it isn't that strong. Like 12%.

Rice liquor. Blech.

Pear wine's pretty bomb though.

 

it can't be sake then.. it couldn't have been only like 12%.. that was insanely strong..

I work on one. Driving around a beverage cart serving beer water and powerade. I have a bunch of regulars, and these guys (brothers or brother in laws or something) have a bunch of family in Tennessee and told me about moonshine a few weeks ago. I told them I wanted to try some next time they had their hands on it and wa-la.

I couldn't tell you if it was 'real' or not, but it wasn't horrible tasting.. just tasted like very strong raspberry liquor. and like I said, I poured in a cup filled to the top with ice, and sipped it slowly over like a 40 minute time period.

Anyway yeah, I'd drink it again.

 

I've never had it flavored, just straight ol' homemade whiskey. It was definitely a favorite of mine.

 

I like everclear on the rocks.
