yes, simultaneous equations please..... IM going to try to figure that last one out, but give me simultaneous!

Quite Easy One to Solve...

2xy + y = 10

x + y = 4

 

there are two answers on that one.......


x=2 and y = 2


and.........

x= 3/2 and y = 5/2

 

I should really practice these as I'm taking math again in the fall and haven't done any math in a year or more.

Well it Would be Plain Embarasing if I Got the Actual Question Wrong...:&

 

that f(x) problem is pissing me off!

 

f (-2) = -64 + 72 - 6 - 2 = 0...thus (x+2) is a Factor...


f (1/4) = 1/8 + 9/8 + 3/4 - 2 = 0...thus (4x-1) is a Factor....

 

oh duh, easier than I thought.
