Inflation In Venezuela rose rose 800 percent. While the country relied on oil for them to prosper, manufacturing and agricultural production declined there. People were unable to get food, The government Hugo Chavez didn’t care. Never addressed it and let everything else fall while lining his own pockets.

All of your points about the earth and the environment are right on. They are also precisely the issues that Trump and his ultra conservative cronies have trampled on. These values usually are not valued in the market and so don’t matter in his administration’s decisions.
