I wouldn't call the USA a capitalist country. But when a shortage occurs here, it is usually due to panic buying, hoarding, an accident, a sudden embargo from a foreign exporter, or a natural disaster. When a shortage happens in a socialist country, it's because the government is left in charge of all inventory, and they prove themselves inept, time after time.
The Italian government is neglecting the +80 y/o coronavirus patients because they are not a politically valuable demographic to their agenda.
No, no it didn't. FDR and the New Deal Did Not Prolong the Great Depression FDR Prolonged the Depression? Really?
Or More like there are only so many hospital beds and so many ventilators, so doctors are having to make the disturbingly difficult choice of who to treat and who not to treat Or do you actually believe that Italian politicians are going into hospitals and saying to doctors, "oh no, that demographic wont vote for me. Dont treat them" ? Oh and just FYI, Italy has more hospital beds than the US per capita, so if it spreads in the US like it has in Italy we are fucked.
You say that as if you really know it, but is that really so? I think not and its a bold claim to state seriously as if its certain. To consider or assume (and acknowledge its an assumption) is all fine and well of course
A friend of mine worked for FEMA after Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. He told me he was paid to sit in an office and do nothing at all for several hours. He came down there hoping to get some valuable disaster relief experience for the government, but all he did for the most part was sit in an office, file paperwork, respond to emails, and answer calls. He was paid full time to get nothing done. Needless to say he was very disappointed and it was an eye opener to him as to how incompetent a government agency can really be.
Could be. I often see it from millenial socialists who are eager to see the older generations die off so their revolution can get started.
So basically, in 40 years kids will be kicking their parents for the shit they allowed to happen, which will be worse than it is now in the USA. Ask a canadian what the constitution says, what their rights are, the answer will be. I don’t know. Ask an America; this and they know.
falling apart and it is not free either. Costs about 13000 a year for it for it, Wait times are ridiculous. Wait a long time for surgery. Sent home, not enough bed, it is being privatized too. Meds not available sometimes,
ok, you don’t have to. Look it up for yourself. Poor provinces pay about 7000 a year per person in health care. Mine, Ontario is around 13000 in healthcare which is deducted from pay. comprehensive study from 2017 of the top 11 countries ranked Canada's health care system third-to-last.[17] Identified weaknesses of Canada's system were comparatively higher infant mortality rate, the prevalence of chronic conditions, long wait times, poor availability of after-hours care, and a lack of prescription drugs and dental coverage. Healthcare in Canada - Wikipedia yeah it is wiki but I am lazy right now.
you don’t get. I pay, every working canadian pays. It is mandatory deductions from pay. How much does the ‘average’ Canadian pay in a year for public health care? the government manages the healthcare system and poorly, so poorly that it is becoming privatized. It is just like paying for private health care in the USA. Let us keep the money and get our own perhaps would be cheaper, but we don’t have a choice. It is like the government is the monopoly.
You're not so innocent yourself Post #4568 2020 Election "held hostage" by the backward views of older generations Basically you're waiting for their time to end, to start your revolution
Six has outdone himself with this thread. The gist seems to be that Italy's "socialist" medical system is responsible for corona deaths in the elderly. What would it be like under a Libertarian "everyone for himself/herself and the Devil take the hindmost"? More toilet paper shortages! Medical care going to the highest bidder! More scammer shuck and jive.
