'Rights' were never granted easily, they had to be fought for over long and bitter battles time and time again. Womens sufferance is a classic case in point, so too is each and every 'right' workers have fought for and won over the past 200 years.

 

I haven't heard anything about a business being shut down over threats of violence so I'll take your word for that one. As far as the rest goes you know who pulls down You Tube channels? You Tube. Because it's their platform and they can do what they want with it. Same with Google and the rest of it. They dont want to be associated with hate and insane conspiracy theories. Alex Jones can start his own video hosting platform because goddamnit this is America.

On to Ghostbusters... there was a planned sequel that was canceled and now instead of that we're getting the original cast of men back after 30 plus years. I heard it's gonna be called Ghostbusters 3: Grumpy Old Men. So that was absolutely cancelled.

Exactly, our right to free speech is a right and when a government takes that away there is a fight! No one, especially a government doesn’t have the right to dictate what you can and can not stand up for or say! No matter how much you agree or disagree with the speaker. No matter how much socialists disagree, they can not change this law in the USA. If you allow it to happen just once, then it is a loss for all and that dictate will grow. The government will tell you what you can and can’t say. They will tell you that you don’t have the right to defend yourself, they will tell you freedom of religion is not a right, etc...and the list goes on.

so if you are trying to insinuate that socialists are the ones fighting this, you are sorely mistaken and lacking in an understanding. Are you trying to label abolitionists as Democrats here?

I'm fabricating nothing. My own Grandmother was a suffragette alongside Sylvia Pankhurst !!! My Father was a Trade Unionist and shop steward in the factory he worked in. Many times did he lead his co-workers on strike in defending the workers rights for decent pay and/or conditions. I too joined my respective Trade Union, became Branch Secretary, shop steward, health & safety steward. As well as representing my Trade Union members I was also a co-founder of a neighbourhood law centre and represented many clients at courts and tribunal hearings.
