Why surrender your views and ideology to the corporate media when you can defend them? Why let the corporate media misrepresent and manipulate your views, and ideology when you can defend them? Abandoning the Left and Right paradigm just because corporations and elites use it control and deceive the masses to serve their insane self-interests sounds very silly to me, why let them win? Why accept defeat when you can revolt and educate the masses so they cannot fall for such simple deception and control. Democracy, without education that teaches people how to think instead of what to think is very useless.

Public schooling is not education, though. It's indoctrination. The large majority of the population has been through the public school system, which correlates with the number of people unable to think critically and objectively. Public schooling makes people one thing, which is good cogs for the system. The REAL goal of the public education system in America is not to teach, much less "educate." It's to rob children of their individuality and their creativity, and make them think like everyone else. Or rather NOT think at all.

So what exactly is "education."

As far as "democracy" goes... does anyone even know what that word translates to in Latin?

 

I didn't read the article, so this might be off target a bit. But why shoudln't people be allowed to be intolerant, regardless of their race or religion? I don't think people should have to sue to be intolerant, because I feel that people have the constitutional right to be intolerant if they want. People also have the right to form an opinion on people based on the words and actions of others. If a person is a racist bigot, then that's who they are, and that's how they will be judged by the majority of people. They will be exposed to all for who they are.

There is nothing more fascistic than "hate crime" laws dealing with written or spoken words.

The intent of the existing public school system is to produce obedient and unthinking workers for the capitalistic system. I see public schools arguing bullying is good for children to get them ready for the future. Lol, to be bullied by their employers. Nevertheless, every now and then the public school system produces a free mind. The public school systems fails to teach people how to think, but it does teach people how to read and write. If it was not for the public school system illiteracy will be very high.

The goal should not be abolishing the public school system. The goal should be the improvement of it. Without it, only the rich and very wealthy will be able to get an education.
