Mississippi seems so far away from everybody and everything else.

Not if you're visiting Graceland and have a hankering for the Waffle House.

Waffle House sucks never eat there what do people up north have... Huddle House...

 

People 'up north' have IHOP. Out west we have Dennys. In Southern California we have Roscoe's Chicken and Waffle.

 

We have Ihop here also, been there a few times but service is bad. We have 4 truck stops one called Space Way has awesome food good service and is very clean. .when I lived in California I ate at Denny's and Lion's restaurant all the time.

 

I grew up in Merced California.. My dad was a dairy and row crop farmer.

 

Lyons Restaurants are long gone. I only ate in the one in Daly City, south of San Francisco.

 

Hate to hear they are gone met my second wife at Lyons in Merced Ca. She was a server there. Good food but the service was even better.

Lived in Tennessee drove by Graceland many time's never stopped. Had a cousin named Jimmy Ellis that was an Elvis impersonator his stage name was Orion

 

A former friend was holding onto his lover during a bout of cancer that the lover was having. I agreed to come visit and offer respite care. By the time I got on the flight, the lover had passed. Since their home and town are a bit sleepy, I offered my friend a road trip to Memphis from SE Ohio. We had a good time. It was the last time we spoke.

Been to Atlanta a few times. Have friends in Loganville. Near Stone Mountain.

 

Been to loganville myself know some people that live there also. Visited Stone Mountain a few times to watch the laser show.

 

Never been to laser show there, did not realize they have one. Will have to check into it.
