Well lets see, I bought myself a dual P4 mother board with a matched pair of dual core 3.6 CPU's, 4 gig of ram, 250gig hd, a geforce 256mb video card, dvd-rw, nice case, dvd-cdrw, dual network card, and some misc pieces to build me another computer since this one is getting dated. So if all is right I will be at 14.4ghz for cpu. I hope that will last a bit.

I got some clothes form family since I forget to buy myself some alot. I got $30.00 from a customer and a nice card. I got tools, homemade goodies, cards, and lots of phone calls. I kicked ass in my book.

Is it possible to build your own laptop? I have built myself PCs before out of different parts, and it came out costing hundreds of dollars less than buying a full PC....

But I just stick to laptops now because I need the mobility. Can a laptop be built just like a PC?

 

i got an 8gb Ipod thingy, socks, live free or die hard and 300 on DVD. a set of glassware with the patriots logo on it. and a simpsons glass with a bunch of drink recipes on it

i got my parents a phantom gourmet giftcard for $50 - can be used at a bunch of different restaurants, they like doing that, trying out new restaurants and such. got my sister a GPS leather carrying case. got my mom a cheese grater. got the father of my nephew a $25 gift card to Newbury Comics. pitched in for some toys for derek (nephew). got my dad a little bamboo tree for his b-day (dec 24). got my grandmother a bell, she likes them.

Yes but with alot of issues. See you can order cases for PC's but laptop would require the re-use of an old case and good luck finding parts to fit so that leaves you building a case. It has been done, like the guy that built the laptop looking xbox 360

I have yet to find a person that has vested the time to do an actual laptop as you can see from the links above doing so could be done. Just building the shell is the issue.

i got doc martins, a bunch of pirate toys, some from the movie some just random ones, fake pirate tattoos and stickers, a hip flask that has a wanted poster on it it's fucking sweet, i got a bunch of bartending stuff, this kick ass tank top that says "canadian girls drinking team" but it doesn't fit me at all
i got the simpsons movie, a back massager, but i gotta get someone to hold it for me heehee
a bunch of little random stuff, guess gold purfume..i smell so good right now
and my brother bought me a nintendo ds
and my friend brock gave me a book, i've started reading it..it's pretty sweet it's set in like the ice age type thing

I got a Huggy Jesus, a kilt, kilt shirt and matching cloak, four thermal henleys, a white chocolate coconut bar, a box of my sister's whole grain roca with pretzels and a flashlight.

All I wanted was the kilt, everything else was bonus! I'm gonna be the king shit highlander at Ren Faire next year! I have an elk skin around here someplace, gotta make some boots and a sporran.

 

I did not want anything, but I did get some books. If I have to get anything material anyway I prefer it to be books.
I really do not want to collect stuff, since it does not make me any happier and it will probably be thrown or given away anyway.

 

I got a gorgeous green amethyst and diamond ring, underwear, an aveda gift kit, some 'hobbiest stuff', a kitchen aide mixer from my mom, starbucks certificates, the chanel holiday lip gloss set, and cash from my grandparents.

I have best fiance int he world. He has awesome taste. We got our dog a basset hound friend too. It's an awesome Christmas. I am so happy we stayed here and didn't go to California.

I got Andy a stainless and titanium necklace, some stuff for his bathroom, sheepskin slippers, muclaks, a clinique shave kit and stocking stuffers.

 

Oh and I got my mom a Nepalian pendant, a necklace, the bobbi brown holiday make-up set and bath stuff.
I got my grandma a shawl and bath stuff and my grandpa nepalian wool handmade gloves. Oh and I got my Uncle a handpainted coffee cup with a ceramic lid. It's awesome. If it wasn't the last one I would have gotten one for me.
Oh and I got people at work truffle brownies I made and weird presents-like sushi scented air-fresheners.
