This thread is hysterical in a kind of pathetic way. You posted almost the exact thread just two days apart. Hell the other thread is still on page one, why make another thread with the same complaint? There seems to be a shit load of y'all with narrow minds. This is a public, open forums!! If you are sensitive about the thread, or its too personal...DON'T POST IT! Find someones opinion you would like and pm them but if you post be prepared for responses you will not like.If you don't have a grasp how many people are on the site check out the stat at the bottom of the front page of the forums. Its already been said about your narrow conceptions of wtf a hippie is supposed to be all about *rolls eyes* One thing it isn't about is NARROW MINDED VIEWS. Exclusion of people because they don't believe as you. Wanna revolution? ~pfft!~ What have you done to be actively involved in creating change? All the peace marches for the Viet Nam war weren't peaceful things, I know this first hand. Try doing some research on it if you don't really know. Hippies are just as diverse a crowd as you can get. By your standards no meat eaters should be considered hippies either then.

What really irked me though, is the fact that the first thread you complained on, you actually got a huge amount of support...and two days later, you gotta dredge it up with a brand new thread and the other one is still very active. Wtf was yer reasoning there? If you wanted to get past the incident and move the hell on, why the fuck do you keep bringing it back up to the forefront?? BTW, to have deleted the original thread was a bit like closing the barn door after the horse ran away. Theres no damn way to see if you had any validity about yer bitching about the original thread when whatever you posted is gone and with the overwhelming response that was negative about whatever you had to put up with at some point, I can only assume that maybe the majority had a point. From what I saw the majority posted out of concern for your well being about possible abuses.

I deleted that old thread because, again, I realized that it was a mistake to post it in the first place. I was mad when I posted it, and it wasn't fair.
I think that it's ridiculous that I have to keep explaining myself to people who fly off the handle about something that doesn't even affect them. Why get so worked up about it? If it bothers you, then go away.

In any public place, expectations of free speech still come under certain restraints. Whether its because its too personal, hurtful, or the expectation of the backlash. Can't remember who's quote it is but the only place you can have expectations of free speech is in your own home (and not always then for the reasons I already stated)
