Acually Canada doesn't ban guns. They just ban some types of guns and make you jump through a buearocratic hoopla to have others. Handguns are only partially banned, but you can still own them but you can't carry them in public except under very specific circumstances and only then under triple lock and key. So for all intent and purpuse the only handguns on the street are illegal.

I know what a life is. A fetus is not a person. Abortion is not murder, it is a legal medical procedure and it is the choice of the person having the procedure to have it. You are stating your opinion, I am stating legal fact. I haven't run roughshod over you thinking that your vehemence is Christian-based. Unlike most Christians I am tolerant of others' beliefs and you are completely entitled to them. That is until it comes to politics in the US. Then you need to set your religious law aside in favor of the law of man, which states, once again, that abortion is not murder, it is a legal medical procedure in the US and elsewhere.

And for the record Barak Obama is a Baptist and is PRO-LIFE but as our president he will keep that personal opinion to himself and has stated so. If everyone could be so enlightened... If only....

 

I just stepped into this conversation - and I mean stepped in it. Why do people hate so blindly. What has Obama ever done to deserve that kind of venom. Reminds me of people who hate Hillary. I have tried to find what she has done that is so enraging - but I can't. It's just some sort of blind rage.

 

When it comes to abortion I am very much against it, but to try and make a personal decision for another person to me is even more wrong. I have always believed in personal choice whether it be religion, politics, lifestyle and most of all your own person.
