Fuck my Doc wrote oxycontin 30mg instead of Oxycodone and they gave me the fucking OP's because the Pharmacists said they dont make the 30's generic! Is this true? Has this ever happend to any of u?
that stinks man.. the pharm company ethex DO make the original OC pills, just like the old ones, also you need to get you Dr. to give you 'roxicodone' those are the most common 30mg oxycodone pills..known as blues and perc 30s by some less informed people. My guess is the pharmacy is trying to get rid of those shitty OPs cause no one really wants them, they found a little loophole in your Rx, and they are trying to off some of the OPs on you instead of the generic ones. They sometimes apparently save the generic ones for people who dont have insurance, so they can make more $... idk man. those shitz are MORE than available in the sunshine state.
I dont have insurance and i payed cash for them!!! I know ethex makes the real OC as generic's but they were saying that the 30mg were the problem any other dose i could of gotten the generics!!!!
i asked for a generic prescription from my PM Doc, and when i went to fill it, i called around and they said they dont make the 30 generics.....only 20, and 40s......and they were having trouble getting them....
WHAT? when was this? thats interesting. I know other places around the US where they are still very prevalent... Maybe in Florida, to curb abuse, they are no longer carrying them in some pharmacies? idk.. just speculation.. AND THAT ^^^ TIES IN WITH WHAT IS BELOW.. hmmmmmm....well the way i see it i suppose you have three options; a) ask your dr to prescribe you a214s, which are 15mg roxicodone, get twice the amount of 30s you would be getting. b)ask your dr to prescribe you roxicodone instead of OxyContin OPs. c)Stick with those OPs, chew them up when eating them, and i guess you wont be able to insufflate any.. there is probably a bunch more options, lol, but these are all i can think of at the moment. best of luck! keep me and everyone else informed!
i'd say sept/oct ish.....i called around to my local walgreens to find the ethex brand, and that is what i found...from what i can remember, i will see if i can find another post i made to confirm!
