8 Hours for the carbon monoxide (a toxic gas) levels in you and your baby’s blood stream will drop by half, and oxygen levels will return to normal.
48 hours for all nicotine (also toxic) to have left your body

 

Not true. The average age of a mother giving birth has risen from 21.4 years old in 1970 to almost 25 in 2002. I think old parents can fuck up their kids just as much as younger ones.

That aside, quit with the tobacco. Aweful habit and not good for anyone, let alone unborn babies. No no one has been able to link pot smoking during pregnancy with any ill effects on the fetus and they have been trying to for many years, but there is just no proof. I think weed used as an herb can be helpful for morning sickness and stress during pregnancy, but it would obviously be better to vaporize or eat it.

 

My view is you are a fucking idiot to smoke anything with a bun in the oven. If you want to smoke while pregnant get an abortion.

Listen i know smoking cigs are bad you guys keep on tellin me how horrible i am about it well why the hell do you think ive cut down so much as to me smoking a pack in a half a day like i used to. Didnt i show i was quit'n cigs?????? wit the whole cig ever once in awhile cause i get stressed. I chew gum most of the time! I even stated i smoked my bud cause me getting sick 24/7 i dont have just morning sickness i have a it all day everyday! An in fact no matter what you guys have read there is no actual proven fact that weed hurts your child, docs have told me and dont think i would have done a background check before loadin my hitter? DUH! lol They keep tryin to link it but they cant. The ADHD has tryed being linked to weed and preg but they have no proof cause of family historys. I just wanted to see what REAL facts you guys have found. Instead i got all these different people quick to judge from what they have read. Ever person i know that smokes but with preg their kids are normal. Thats alot of them! You guys are all about not jugde'n but HOLYSHIT 95% of you tell me im horrible! thats why i kept sayin read. Read whats there not what you wanna skip over or take another way.

that may be, but teenage pregnancy rates ARE getting higher. it's an epidemic. a parent who, say 30, more than likely is going to be alot better of a parent than someone who is 19. her carelessness as to smoke and shit while pregnant is a red flag she is not a good parent. your brain doesn't even fully mature until you're 25-30. a 19 year old should NOT be having a child.

 

i graduated awhile ago thank you. it wasnt my choice to get preg i was even on that shot too but heck i got a seed planted anyways. and i am married. MY CHOICE!

 

first off this was your first time EVER mentioning you had already cut down...so don't even use that against us.

and granted a lot of peopl bashed, even me at some points, you WERE given a lot of GOOD HARD TRUE facts...and you choose to omit them. I'm an avid ganja smoker, but even if I became pregnant I'd stop, your choice. But that's not what everyone is making a big deal about...Every singler person who has posted is more adamant that you do NOT smoke CIGARETTES!!!!!!!

i just want to mention to you wynter that my mother could not hold me for 2 months because she had toxemia and i had jaundice and was incubated.. Know what her and i don't have a close bond -please understand why we are trying to tell you these things

 

no it wasnt my choice! i was on the shot and used a condom the condom ripped in two my ex didnt tell me and BAM! outta nowhere im preg and im thinkin wtf cause i of my shot and condom.

 

i know what that is i already have it! I would have gotten it with or without smokes cause i have high blood pressure to begin with.
I had jaundice that would have made the wonka ticket look light gold and my mom didnt smoke.

 

my mom is VERY jealous that i have a closer relationship with my step kids that she ever had with me . She was a very nasty woman to me. That was linked to not being able to take care of me as a newborn toddler or even period

 

im sorry to hear that my mom still got to hold me an everything when i got out and im the baby.
