Slipknot and the like

from the old albums, i like the songs "wait and bleed" and "left behind" and that's it. the rest is just too weird for me.

however, the new album is great. biiiiig step forward, for them. the songs "duality", and "vermillion part 2" are my favs.

 

I love Left Behind.

Are we talking nu-metal, just in the Slipknot vein or are we including hxc like Atreyu?

All those new bands like Atreyu, or however it's spelled... sound the same, to me, coming from a bit of a pro in the music world..

i just dont really like nu-metal. i can't connect with it, which is what music is really about, what rock & roll is really about.... connecting with your audience. So, i guess that's why i dont like Slipknot. i can't connect with the sound or the message. maybe it's me... maybe it's them. I would like to think that the future could be positive.
