Only a few times in high school.. I was usually unable to sleep if I was uninterested and would just engage in other non-school-related activities, like that time I played Diablo for a whole day instead of listening to our monotonous ultra-boring teacher.

until my senior year of high school sleeping is pretty much all i did in school.

i still got better grades than most everyone else, so most teachers didn't care. my spanish teacher used to ring a cowbell at me though.

I once fell asleep in OAC English because it was boring as hell. The teacher didn't notice.
Once you start nodding there is little you can do.

Only classes I could get away with it in..... I'll admit though, if I was a teacher, I'd be pretty pissed off at the kids who slept through my class. It's sort of disrespectful and like 'why are you even here?'

In my defense, I was a pretty intense insomniac throughout highschool. I'd be up all night, go to school on NO sleep, therefore it was sort of hard to stay awake.

Because you have to be. That's the only reason I went to class. I wanted to graduate and even if I already knew all the stuff I was being "taught", I still had to show up to class to graduate.

Nah. It was mere survival. Education can actually kill you, if you didn't know.

I use to sleep so much in classes that some teachers even thought I was narcoleptic, which only helped my cause. Some would get really pissed, but most didn't mind too much, because when I was awake I asked so many fucking questions and when they didn't know an answer it'd really fuck with their ego.

Besides usually I had read the entire text book within the first two months...unless of course it was mathematics. Never did homework, just did well on tests...so as long as you had good grades I think they kind of realized that it didn't matter if you were awake in class or not....although not all teachers were like that.

True. I didn't think of it like that. When I didn't want to be at school, I just left.... which was dumb of me, but it all worked out in the end I suppose :cheers2:

:cheers2: I know right? Don't want kids nodding in class, don't force them to be there and listen to some inane stuff with zero practical application in their lives, when they obviously have better things to do!
