By forcing myself to stay up or by forcing myself up early. I try to get to sleep accordingly. I work nights some weekends and days in the week, so I do have to adjust my sleep pattern quite often.

Same. I can't force my body to do what it doesn't want to do.

I can remember one period of my life where I was working two overnight shifts, one night shift, one morning shift and one afternoon shift a week.

Every week, for 35 hours (in between waking up for my morning shift and going to bed the night after an overnight shift) I didn't sleep a wink. I went a little crazy but I managed just fine.

I try and go to bed around 10pm and then wake up from around 6.30 - 7.30am. Usually because I wake up at 6.30, sleep for 10 mins, and then 20 mins, and then keep going till I finally realise how fucking late I am.

Today i woke up at 6 to get some files from the ol' computer so I've been here, although I doubt my brother will give me the damn usb in time.

when there are enough weeks i prefer to let them precess around the clock.
i prefer for there to be enough weeks.
i also prefer to let my times fall naturally where they will.
sometimes when i have no distractions i get up very early in the day.
but usually, when i have around me the things that i like,
being awake alone in the middle of the night seems most natural to me.

I'm the opposite. If I fall asleep on my back, I always seem to have dream's where I'm choking, or being strangled. I always try to fall asleep on my side, or stomach.

I'm awake all hours. If I need to wake up early, I'll set my alarm and drag myself out of bed the next day. It kills me. I cant even talk - I just stare at people. It takes me about three hours to wake up unless loads of caffiene is poured down my throat.
