Skype Allows Police to Monitor Chats

You won't ever be able to enjoy Skype sex again well unless u like the idea of the police watching you get off hmmmmm maybe it's not so bad after all

 

This overbearing government, set out to destroy hard working people, is only causing devastation at the personal level and desperation is increasing considerably in the US. You can just feel it sucking away life and sanity.

No wonder all these shootings are happening.

Once again, nearing election. The sheeple voters have been herded into arguing about abortion for the umpteenth time and not about important issues such as the NDAA.

Never used Skype, and I am glad I don't.

 

When Neil Dellacroche, the Underboss of the Gambino family would have confidential visitors to his home, he would flip the circut breaker in the basement, throwing the house into darkness.

He was well aware that the indictement of Paul Castellano was the result of microphones placed in the house that used the building's own power supply.

 

Not to mention a few other private communities which use their own software.

But really, how are they going to target it? Looking for keywords? IE: you say "bomb" and boom a cop is going to be reading your chat in real time?

That blows...

But yeah, we haven't had any real privacy for a while, cell phones gave the illusion for a while, as public phones were all tapped... However, with a simple scanner you can pick up most cell signals and eavesdrop on both sides of the conversation, unless you and the other party have a scrambler, but then they can still hear your side...

And what? You don't talk to everyone in code??? I thought that was a common practice since the early 90s!

 

Skype Sex.....? IE on cam or just "cyber"

I never understood the whole "cyber" thing.... I mean, I guess it's like an interactive sex novel going on... But... Never really appealed to me.... Never even was interested in it really.

People still do that? Even after 90% of people have cams?? That's a shock.

 

Cool, more invasion of privacy. Skype just got a whole lot scarier.

 

I noticed Skype was active on my laptop. I have never used it, but I figured perhaps my roommate might have. I uninstalled it just because.

What is Skype?

 

It's an internet phone system.... sort of.

 

Not like a big truck. It's like a series of tubes.

 

The simple fact is, unless you are using PGP grade encryption, you should assume everything you say and do is being recorded somewhere.

Not necessarily looked at, the vast majority of these systems are automated, flagged and only looked at when other circumstances cause that flag to become relevant, but nevertheless it is there, on the system.

Your only safety is in using military grade crypto. Especially nowadays, since everything prefixed with cyber- (including, potentially, sex) is having bundles of money thrown at it by goons in the Pentagon.
