God damnit, does anyone know what real emo is? There's more to the genre than My Chemical Romance and Dashboard.

Although, besides for Cursive's Ugly Organ album, their stuff kinda suck, and I'd place it under really bad emo. The cello player, Gretta Cohen left, and without her, they really have nothing special to them. The singer has another band called Good Life. I'd place them under some decent "emo."

I dislike Ska but I don't think it sucks...You people are so...quick to judge.

I was saying that bands like MCR and Dashboard and Simple Plan, and all those other damn overplayed bands aren't emo.
    C'mon now.
    Pay attention :)

deathcab, postal service, cursive, rilo kiley, new pornographers.
i tend to get emo mixed up with indie, i dont get either, hows it indie if they have a label and hows something you put your emotions into making not emo?

and i prefer ska, which grew from calypso/mento+jazz
