How is being a vegetarian helping the environment. They dont take animals out of the wild. The only thing i can think of would be. Wasting less energy killing animals and less fucking shit from animals.

A lot of the world's beef comes from the amazon rain forest. The main reason for deforestation is not farming (the soil is VERY poor in the rain forest) it is cattle herding.
