I would disagree. When you look at human success over geological time, its nothing that great. When were gone, bacteria, fungi, and bugs will still be alive and kickin. They are the worlds greatest survivors. Then again, it all depends on your definition of greatness...

yeah. But like primitive humans with out technology.

as i said, i dont really have any strong views on this shit im just throwing it out there so people can think about it.

Sure slaughter houses, but cows raised for food are also a huge part of global warming (if that even exists... idrk)

I wasn't being sarcastic when I said man is at the top of the food chain. You forgot to take into account the only reason man is so successful is not because of sheer brawn, its because we're smarter than our advesaries. Sure some dumbass jumping into a pool full of sharks will get eaten, but any person that plans on surviving will bring along a shark cage. Face it, human beings are not a regular source of nourishment for any predator accept bacteria.

Bacteria, yeah yeah...but we have the means to kill and completely wipe those out, as well...

Primitive humans will evolve into modern day humans :) still at that stage, however - we have the means to kill animals that would easily destroy us lest we have no weapon.

Beef, I saw it on Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern. Best show on TV IMHO.

I was talking abuot this part

Fortunately if things go the way "God" intended all the little pussy cry babies that worry about animals dying will die out to be replaced by the much better adapted omnivore man

    except bacteria? And micro organisms....

lol, i'm just saying that I have confidence in humans to achieve whatever they really want to achieve...except like...getting rid of gravity - though I shouldn't say that...WHO KNOWS?!

Yeah, I for one, after studying human evolution for 3 years, have decided not to put so much faith in humanities resourcefulness though, I could always be proven wrong. I think as Maynard James Keenan famously said in the song Aenima "Mom's gonna fix it all soon, Mom's comin' round, to put it back the way it ought to be."
