when you take a shower, and you get done, do you dry off in the bathtub before getting out? nope
or do you get out of the shower and then dry off? yes
or do you get out of the shower and wrap a towel around you and go to your room to finish drying off? no
    and next
does anyone in your house complain about the rug being wet in the bathroom after you take a shower? nope

I don't dry off before getting out. I slop water all over the floor. I clean it up after so no one can bitch (although the only person who would bitch is my man and he gets the floor wet too)

ahhh yes, stepdads and frivolous crap.

last night i was in the living room eating and watching tv, everyone else had gone to bed and i had the light on, and my stepdad comes in and shuts off the light, continuing to walk into the kitchen without saying anything... so i'm looking at him, in the dark with a plate in my hand, and i ask him, am i not allowed to have the light on? and he said, no. turn on one of the side lights. so yeah... i had never heard this before and he was rude about it in my opinion... then he goes to bed and my mom walks in and i ask her why i'm not allowed to have the top light on and she was like, i have no idea.. he's probably just being a butthead. argh. and she puts up with it too... never telling him he's full of crap for being so picky and finicky...

sorry for the venting but he pisses me off sometimes. he also helped me get my car out of a shop because the guy working on it was being shady. and he got pissed at me about it and is making me pay him labor to do the work, along with paying for the parts of course. and he still expects a huge thank you and money and i don't know what else... aaaand who knows when he's goign to sit me down again to tell me things need to change around here. because apparently i'm a lazy good for nothing bum... or something like that. argggghhhhhh.....

okay i feel a little better.

oh yeah, and do you guys know anybody who eats their dinner in the dark while watching tv?

usually I'm late for school or something else so I'm multitasking. drying myself off while brushing my teeth or something. I suppose I COULD do that while still in the shower buttt eh.

I get out of the shower, stand on my bathmat and dryy off, then out on my dressing gown and take the lot away with me. No wet floor, and we all have our own bath mats.

wow your situation sounds a bit similar to mine.
and no haha i dont sit in the dark and eat dinner. I dont eat in the living room when my step dad is up, just so I can avoid him. He won't allow me to eat in my room so I usually just wait to eat til' he's sleeping.

oooh i feel ya... i AM allowed to eat in my room (thank god) my 12 yr old sis has to eat at the bar, while the 4 yr old (who just happens to be his only child) eats pretty much wherever she wants to.... hmmmm... anyway :) he turned the light off on me again today... so i asked him why and i guess it's a matter of conserving energy or something... anyway, i talked to my mom about it; this was the first time she had heard of it so she talked to him. apparently he wakes up in the morning and sees all the lights on (have no idea who's leaving them on though...) soooooo he got over his anger at work or whatever and did apologize to me, after i came home tonight. yay! now i don't have to walk on eggshells around him hopefully for the next few days! :p hehe... anyway, yeah... i empathize with you.

they'll be married two years this november.

i dont know if i ever liked my step dad, i mean he treats my mom and younger sister really good; and my mom is really happy with him. he's just really hard to get along with.
haha i'll never forget the time my mom told me that after they got engaged he told her that she could wear his ex wifes wedding ring to save money if that would help. I guess he was ignorant about stuff like that b/c he saw nothing wrong with that at all. :p

    lol

my stepdad's also hard to get along with.. just really moody... we used to get along okay but not lately...

that's pretty funny... save money for who exactly?.... isn't he the one buying it? hehe... i'm surprised he had his ex-wife's ring honestly.. i thought the woman usually kept it... *shrug* my stepdad used to buy my mom lots of jewelry when they were dating... now only for x-mas i think

haha i'm not sure who they were saving money for. they both work at the post office which pays them both well so whos knows what he meant.
i think getting jewelry for certain special occasion is kinda cool, it leaves you all year long anticipating stuff like that:D

In the spring and summer I open a window to let air in to the room(no one can see me anyway cause I live away form the street.).I take it at night cuz I got to get up the next day but I need as much sleep as i can get. When Im done I get out and dry off.I hate it when the carpet gets wet.
