Thanks everyone for weighing in. Thanks buzzgunner for validating my feelings. I think you're right Karen J, I should find better people to hang out with. I will do a combo of the two: for the most part stick with the people who support me, and then once in a while venture out to a sex party or strip club. I too am tired of all the talk about racism and racial issues, it replays in my mind, and I'm often tempted to only socialize with non-blacks, but some of my friends are black, so I wouldn't want to abandon them.
no. dont make forever decisions. your brain just really really wants to make you feel that right now.
Be happy with yourself. If people don't like you for who you are. Don't worry about it. They wouldn't be much of a friend anyway.
no. talk to people. do you bring many interesting discussions and things to say to a group? Do you at least try to connect with others? that's all ya can do, mate. For the fear of them judging you, that's awfully normal. More than half of it is in your head, and not completely avoidable anyways. I think you would be happier mingling with people, as fabricated as it may be. Your other option sounds more lonely. I wouldn't do it just yet. good lucks.
Thanks for weighing in. I never feel lonely. I think I was born to be a loner. Why do you think I should talk to people?
This makes perfect sense to me and is how I live my life. If someone doesn't like me for who I really am that is their loss in my mind. I have no shortage of good people in my life and those are the ones that matter. The only way to meet more good people is to go out and be social. It is easy to ignore the not so great ones, because negative people are just not worth being around.
Hi Samantha. I look forward to reaching 100 posts to PM you. You seem a lot bothered what people think i.e you like people to like you but you're bothered your interests would make them judge you harshly. I am or was like you(I don't know if we ever recover from it). Let me assure you there are 7 billion people on earth and millions in your country. Whatever you think you are, there are people who will kill to be with you; they may not be in the millions. But then again you don't need 1 million friends
