should i be happy?

Riiiiiiiight. I'm sure that she had a grand ol' time strictly partying and smoking with her parents. And I'm sure she never ever ever went out and did the mess behind your back. Maybe she never tried other drugs but I wouldn't be so niave as to think that it was all under your supervision. Come on now. Maybe it all worked out in the end but that way of parenting isn't always so successful. I've had plenty of friends along the way that had parents like that and they of course did it behind thier parents back, got into worse things, ended up getting pregnant, screwed up thier life, yada yada yada. I'm a pot smoker myself and have done other things in the past, but as a parent I don't think it's exactly that smart to encourage your kid to do it or to give them permission to because you never know, they may take complete advantage of that, and then oops, it's out of control. You got lucky, and it may be bitchy of me to say, but I think parenting that way is completely stupid.

i was talkin to my mom today and she said she hasnt smoked since she was 21 and that shed smoke with me some time. now thats cool

 

At least your mum's kinda cool with you smoking. My mum would probably freak if she knew I smoked everyday.

 

Yeah you should be happy cause now you don't have to hide it and you can just secretly do it during the week.

 

must be nice once i was stoopid enough to leave almost a full eighth on my desk and it was one of the few days that my mom came into my room. i told her if she gave it back i'd sell it and we could split the profits, but she just flushed it. it pissed me off but it was pretty cool that she didnt ground me. it would be a dream come true if my very antidrug parents wanted me to smoke with them, but i dont see that happening any time soon. your very fortunate to have a mom like that
