you know what, I might be thinking of something totally different. I think it was his german pistol that he told me he had people offering him like 2 grand for....... he wouldn't sell it because it was his dads when he was in germany in ww2. I've shot it several times, its a great little gun. I don't remember offhand what model it is.... he's got so many guns I can't keep track, he's changed his collection quite a bit since I moved out of the house, so I don't get to keep up with it, but whenever I need a gun fix that my own can't fulfill, I take a trip up to his place and get all I need
I had the same problem with two different semis. I took them both apart and cleaned em really good and voila, they worked like new again. They need cleaning all the time. way too much maintanance in the semis.
yes, i admit it does need cleaned good. its been awhile, mainly because its such a pain in the ass to tear down and put back together. it really acts up bad with reloaded shells..... i think the one batch didn't get resized quite right and they just don't want to work. problem is, there were several thousand shells in that batch. they work fine in the pumps and double barrels, but the semi's just don't want them.
I won’t own auto loader shotguns, everyone I know that has one it jams even when they keep them clean. I think shotguns shells are just to big to work good in autoload then when the ends flare open they get all messy and stick to the gun.
i believe it but still, when it does work, its the most efficient way to send lead flying in every direction really quick slightly faster than a pump but if it goes anything like the last time I shot it, which was last summer when my wife and I were at our camp, i loaded up, found a bird to shoot at, thinking, I'll unload on the fucker and it will be funny we'll all have a great laugh. hell no, one shot, birdy goes poof, gun goes jam, shell half ejected. I spent the next hour taking apart, dislodging, and putting back together the gun. Round 2. find a chipmunk this time. click. realized the bolt never shut fully because the shell wouldn't go the whole way in the chamber. ended up having to use my foot on the fucking bolt to get it loose. very dangerous, but I was so pissed i didn't care if i died. needless to say, i put that gun away and haven't shot it since.
The effect of a sawed off shotgun always fascinated me but I have no further knowledge about shotguns so I can't pick a favourite I guess.
i want another like the assault one we had that dave's sister traded for a retarded dog. that thing was just right.
i want a decent assault whatsit sawed off sort and i wanna name it reason. i'll leave this up to dave to find. maybe for valentine's day or my birthday.
