Hey im not the one paying for em..sorry if i dont go up to my mom and be like "mom, even though you will pay $120 for the shoes i will be running in non stop just so i can be comfortable as possible with support and less chance of injury..CAN U PLEASEEEE get shoes for $30 at wal-mart just so i can break my ankles when i go up for a rebound"?!?!?
Thats cool, your mom buys all your stuff, huh? Nice man. Hey, if you really think that brand name shoes will make you play better, give it hell, really, why not go for some 40000 dollar pair of custom made shoes that eliminates all chance of fucking up while wearing them? Believe the hype man, it's the gospel truth!
Yes, my mom does indeed buy me stuff, yano since she is MY MOM. Oh ya, im also 15 years old, and around here, you cant get a job till your 16. So eat shit. Why would you pay 40000 for a pair of shoes? hahahahah wow..mr "im to cheap to buy anything with a brand label" is finally learning.
I'm guessing the same logic goes into buying that 40k pair of shoes as it would the 120 dollar pair, I can only speculate, as I've never been brainwashed into thinking brand names are soo much better. Ok, so you can't get a job, that makes it ok that you don't care how much your shoes cost, after all, I'm sure your mom doesn't work that hard for her money, right?
My mom is on dissability for a car accident that occured in 96. She can afford to get me $120 shoes, and your independant and cant afford em? Something doesnt fit here.
Something is definitely incorrect there. Just because I can afford it, doesn't mean I'm going to pay the extra money for something I can get exactly the same for a lesser price. You might begin to understand where I'm coming from in a few years, when money actually means something.
Finish college Not have the same retail job as now. Have a family and be able to help support it. Change what I can in this world, to hopefully make it better. Write a book. Travel, and see as much of the world as I can Smoke in a coffee shop. Find a time in my life where I can sleep without being woken up. Without sleep, functional life is rather impossiable. I also would like to live, another day...before I die...hopefully later then sooner.
some of my shoes are worth more then your entire wardrobe. And talking about cheap goods VS quality is just dumb, in this world you get what you pay for, if you think that buying a 30$ pair of jeans is even CLOSE to a 400$+ pair hand sewn then live your life of mediocrity, i'll settle for quality
Im guilty for buyin cheapest clothes as possible, but i make it work. I never paid for a shirt(besides a jersey) over 30 dollars and a pair of pants over 40. so i guess i settle for less when it comes to clothes.
You skimp on what you buy clothing wise, you are skimping on how people will see you end of story. And that will have an impact on where you get in life.
dude ppl have a thing called choice, i have an almost full wardrobe of nike, ecko, ben sherman and bunches of famous makes, but i dont rub it in other ppls faces because there were times at my life that i had to wear, cheap and unbranded clothes. i still can now, but i prefer not to, some people prefer toast to normal bread, some people prfer kingsmill to hovis, some people prefer pepsi to coke. i reckon it feels better to buy something u know is worth the money than overpriced shit, thats why i prefer to wait till a really really expensive item goes on sale before buying it. and even if it werent up to choice, but the deepness of your wallet, you should be happy for what you have and can get instead of rubbing it in and taking the piss out of other ppl that dont. it reminds me of primary school, how the kids that had a ps2 would take the piss out the ones still playing with ps1/psx. fucked up really since in reality what matters is happyness, and if the persons happy thats what its about, and i reckon hes happy with the unbranded peanut butter, so whats the fucking deal?
I buy nice LOOKING clothes at marshalls usually, just for cheap. i would never wear anything that doesnt define me(looks wise, not $$)
the point i was trying to get across is you get what you pay for, you pay cheap prices, you get cheap product file ecko in that folder
He wasnt rubbing anything in, he was just simply arguing the fact that quality far over-rules the amount of cash something costs. Thats all. Disregard this post, dj beat me to the reply
ecko is a cheap product, there sweatshirts go for about 20-40 bills. My clothes consist mainly of adidas and nike shirts and shorts, and some no name brand pants.
