Haha, I've been at each extreme. From shaving daily to stopping shaving altogether. Now I just take a razor to my hair every once in a while so that nobody resents me before even knowing me. I don't think I could ever go back to shaving every day, though. Only when I'm in the mood for it, heh.
i shave every now and then when i feel the need to. when i do shave it just typically my armpits and my bikini area. REally i only shave my legs when i know that i am going ot wear shorts or a swimsuit. but since i never wear either i usually shave my legs every 3 months or so. my pits and bikini area i shave probly twice a wekk if even that. why waste a razor when i have no need to look presentable. thats my thought.
you would think someone would be persuaded not to remove hair because of all the raisors and wax and depilatory containers you're putting into landfills by doing so. who came up with all this stuff? why can't we just be natural? I don't think I'll ever understand why people insist on removing so much body hair.
Shave: Legs, arms, pits, random places with random hair.. including downstairs. Pluck: eyebrows, random body hairs if I'm bored Wax: never in my life, ever! Epilate: Legs, arms and body peach fuzz.
i shave as i see fit in the winter i shave less then the summer and i shave pits legs and bush as i see fit though out most of the autum and winter time and more in summer
I shave my legs, armpits, genitals, the usual places. I'm really not into body hair (on myself) but I'm naturally blonde so my body hair is quite light. I used to shave my arms too but my arm hair is so light there is really no point in continuing doing so.
I never wanted to shave my legs until a girl in my choir class made fun of my legs in middle school. I didn't see a problem before then but now I shave...although I still don't like it. I like the way shaved legs look and feel but my skin is so sensitive that it hurts sometimes after I shave or even while I am shaving if I don't use a good razor. I get red bumps and itchy on my thighs when I shave them and I hate it! Though I am sort of seeing someone right now and I know he doesn't like hairy legs so I shave them. I always shave my armpits but never thought about WHY until now. There isn't a good reason but I guess I don't want the person I am seeing to see my hairy pits. eh? As for other places? Since I don't like even shaving the "basics" I only shave "down there" (not on my arms, or anywhere else though) once in a while but it hurts and gives me red bumps. It's gross but easier then trimming all the time. Shave once, give it a while to grow back and then shave it again. Seems much easier and less time consuming. It's not that I care what the hair looks like there but it's just "easier" and doesn't get in "the way" to have shorter or no hair. Hmm.....
I forgot to mention that I LOVE LOVE LOVE hair on other people. Women look nice with shaved legs but I don't think anywhere else would bother me. I love hair on men (even back hair....ooo!). I don't like naked genitals. It's just weird to me although I shave myself occasionally.
Legs and armpits only. Why -- because I guess I am a slave to that much of fashion. I did go through some times when I shaved nothing but then after a few weeks or months I would fall back into that much shaving -- especially in summer. In winter I am more likely to be hairy (because those areas are mostly hidden then -- and my husband does not care if I shave legs or armpits). However, I would never shave my pubic hair. I trim enough so that I don't have pubic hair sticking out of the edges of a swimsuit, but that is all. I am a grown woman and I do not want my vaginal neighborhood to look like I am still short of puberty. I have also asked my husband to promise never to shave his pubic area. He just laughed and said I had no worries about that ever happening. I guess this dates us as being middle-aged but we both think people look better with hair down there. A quarter century ago when we were running around bare-assed in public (i.e., at a clothing optional lake) you almost never saw anyone with a completely bald pubic area... some girls (mostly from the NY City area) might have really trimmed the bushes so they could wear teeny tiny bikinis back home at Jones Beach or something, but mostly people were natural.
I am fair-skinned and have always had trouble with dryness plus oily "spots" with breakouts as well. For years I tried many things, but couldn't find something that made my face look good all year long. I read about The Green Tea Cleanser from Made from Earth in an article from a dermatologist and it is wonderful! Washing with it and then using a serum in the morning is the regimen recommendation. It then read to use the Made from Earth Green Tea Toxin Cleanser at night to wash. With this regimen I have had great skin for over a year now!
Other I don't shave anything consistently/daily. I'd honestly like to not grow armpit hair and a good majority of my pubic hair, but removal followed by instantaneous regrowth is not something I'm willing to make a routine out of. I shave my pits, crotch, and legs (from the knees down) at my leisure/whim. I prefer waxing, but it's expensive at salons and a pain to do myself (though I do it from time to time). I haven't shaved my thighs in apx 10 years. I love those hairs there! It feels so nice when the wind blows them about.
I shave/wax everything if I know I'm going to see that special someone. But on normal days, I just make sure to keep hair off my pits (and legs if I'm going to wear shorts).
I wax all the usual areas including brazilian Why? Because it feels nice to the touch and makes everything more sensitive. It's a win/win all round
^actually, waxind de-sensitizes skin, plus leaving pubic and armpit hair helps lock in pherahormones which help with sex drive I trim leg and armpit hair, and I'll shave at my whim, but never removing all my leg hair! I hate the numb feeling of no hair! and I love the feeling of wind blowing on leg hair
