I like bearded ladies. Like old age pensioners, with a few pube-like hairs on their chin. I think it gives them character. Something very charming and natural about it. Why can't more ladies be like this? It'd be cool if once ladies hit puberty they got a hairy chin as well as being hairy downstairs about the valley of goodness. this would also double as a easily visible "i'm ready" sign so that you didn't try and hit on girls who weren't read for some loving. I don't want to go to jail or anything.
I agree with several of the other post.... It feels really good to shave after you have been hairy for a minute, then climb into bed! I do shave my armpits, the legs is what I slide on. In the summer time I keep the legs shaved. In the winter, why?? I wear pants & everytime I get the chills, my leg hair grows!!!!!!!!!! If my boyfriend is ok with it, so am I.
I try to shave pretty regularly, but I don't always because I'm lazy. Not to mention that since I always wear jeans, there's not much of a point in shaving my legs anyway. I just do it because personally, I don't like body hair. Head hair and facial hair is another matter, though. (Erm...facial hair on guys, that is. I don't have a beard. Or do I? -shifty eyes-)
i shave my facial hair every couple of days, but sometimes i can go a half a week or so due to laziness. i also trim/shave in different places downstairs. as far as the whole view of hair being dirty--obviously hair isn't just always dirty, but the more hair you have in a place, the more bacteria, odor, sweat, etc can be stuck in the hair, so that could be a reasonable explaination for someone saying being hairy is gross. i think performing oral sex on girls with no hair smells and tastes WAY better than with hair, and the armpit of someone who has hair there will generally smell worse than someone who shaves. so in a nutshell, i think beards are cool if you can keep it clean and pull it off, but i think girls are better off smooth in most places.
As a guy I don't shave at all, but do keep beard fairly short. As for women there is nothing I find more earthily sexy than a totally natural hairy woman- legs, pits, the lot! Sadly these days such women are almost like the proverbial hen's teeth-bombardment of images + messages that hairless is smooth + sexy whilst hairy is gross + unacceptable in our society makes it difficult for women to opt out of the hairless society. These days even pubic + arm hair is discouraged. Let's hope there's a hairy revolution soon. In a fairer society hairy would be as equal to shaved, each to their own + it would be nice to walk down high street + see not only shaved/waxed legs but hairy legs too-fine blonde hairs, dark furry legs, diversity of human appearance!
sumtimes i shave, but mostly not. usually not in the winter or if i'm on tour/traveling. if i have a doctors appointment or i've gotta "dress up" and wear a short skirt i will, most of the time, but not always. sumtimes i just wanna shave to shave, but i usually have a reason to!
I shave only because my school makes us. So i put the first choice but i wouldn't if i had the choice
aeshna5: "a hairy revolution"! that sounds cool..... I shave because i live in a society and can't cope with the starings (if i haven't shaved) or comments..... But i am very against it.... it's the doll syndrome: guys don't get it, they are afraid of reality!!!! woman are different (and men too!) soon, sometime i'll be strong enough to stop shaving entirely
I'm too lazy to shave regularly, but my legs are very pale and they look dirty with hair all over them.
i shave the underarms anychance i get. usuallywhile im in the shower. i like to keep down there tamed. and its winter and so i haven't shaved me legs. of course if something came up where id have to bare them i would. not that i grow lots of leg hair anyways.
I havent shaved in YEARS. It feels really fake. I did it a few times for an old boyfriend, 'cause he thouught it would be sexy. (he actually shaved my legs a couple times) But I HATE the way it feels. Cold, sensitive, stinging legs! YUCK! Makes me feel vain too. And stupid. It never bothered me being stared at. I always figured if ya gotta stare anyhow, then I'll give ya something to stare at! I DON'T like the way guys look without hair on their faces either, seems like they're trying to hide something or be something they're not. Too feminin. I can't stand looking at a guys naked upper lip for some reason. It feels gross, sort of like accidentally seeing your dad naked or something...
I guess you could say I have a body hair phobia. I just don't like it. I'm talking about on myself and not others. I shave my arm pits, legs and down there. I even use the nair creme on my arms. I just can't stand body hair. LOL The only place I want hair is on my head and my eye brows and eye lashes. Everything else I want hair free.
