i'd recommend girls to go for the brazilian or holywood wax every time. i think a woman doesnt look properly naked if there is hair covering her most intimate parts.

Very true. Visually it is WAY sexier. I don't mind shaven however as waxing can be quite expensive for women. I've never experienced a waxed woman yet however and that would be interesting. The smoothness all the time would be amazing vs a day or two of smooth and then stubble. I have been interested in getting myself waxed down there, but the price is almost double for a man.

 

I've only got another week to go of my traditional annual grow back before I shave it all off again - something I'm really looking forward to.

Most of the time I keep it completely shaven, but once a year I allow it 6 weeks to grow back, so I appreciate more why I choose to keep it smooth. I shave it on Valentine's Day (if possible, with a partner), and then go on to let it grow until my birthday, on March, 28th, a full 6 weeks later (or, in this case, 6 weeks & a day, due to Leap Year).

At the moment I am at the stage where I would be thought of as being trimmed, but far from shaven, so not far from full growth, and already I am reminded as to the reasons as to why I shave.

First of all, as with the rest of my body, a high proportion of the hairs are coming through grey. Although being grey is hardly unusual for someone of my age (about to turn 48), I strated to go grey when I was 13, all due to the hormonal imbalance that brought on premature puberty as well, but there is something about grey pubic hair that is far from distinguished, and something that I find unpleasant in myself, and embarassing while with a partner.

Next comes the itching. This is not a plain irritation which comes from the new growth of having gone a few days without shaving, which you would expect, but the annoyance of the hair itself.

Then comes the main problem - the matter of hygiene. The primary purpose of pubic hair in nature is to soak up the sweat & provide a greater suface area for the dispersal of the pheremonal scent to others - to females, to attract a mate, and to males as a marker of territory. Needless to say, we may well have evolved beyond this stage, at least conciously, but the hardware remains - in fact, the same instincts remain to a degree, as is demonstrated by the urge to perform oral sex as part of foreplay (which is also far more enjoyable without the hairs being in the way to get in your mouth). However, it is much easier to keep the area clean without the pubic hair than it is with them.

Finally, of course, there is the aesthetic side of things. I find pubic hairs hide the contours of what would otherwise be a fascinating & attractive form, in both males & females.

When next Friday comes & I finally get to shed this growth, I think I may take a couple of Before & After snaps.

 

couldn't agree more. Personally I think completely shaved looks sort of.. alien.. I would trim (but don't) and occasionally I like to shave the line downwards about a half inch to accomidate low cut underwear/bikinnis but even that little makes me ich like crazy! I don't shave and I would have to be EXTREMELY horny to allow a shaved man in.

 

I prefer shave- I find I "feel" more that way. Sometimes I leave a little patch

i shave my pubes. ive been doing it for about a year now. the stubble can get annoying, but im in a habit now, i shave about every 2 days. its nice being clean down there. feels nice and i like it. as for pussy, i definitely like shaven, if im eating her out, i dont want to eat a bunch of hair. trimmings good too.
