Oh don’t be so pessimistic I mean as pointed out it did happened in the past and continues today

I mean the big example is Turkey, secularise by Atatuk, its had its ups and downs and recently was drifting to more Islamic thinking up the gains of the secular and left wing HDP in the last elections are encouraging.

Honestly Karen, you really want to know why it’s a bad idea to hate people just because of their race, colour, sexual orientation or religion.

In relation to Muslims

Well I think it rather obvious why those extremist groups that are often far right, fascistic, islamophobic and rather racist would like to spread such hate.

And the reason why it would be advantageous to extremist Muslims isn’t that hard to understand it is likely to produce angry Muslims who think non-muslims what to destroy them, someone in other words that could be turned into another extremist Muslim or at least an ally or supporter.

 

Always good to ask why. But if you're not sure that's what extremist muslims are trying to do in the first place, just take an in depth look at what they're trying to do and you will be convinced that they are indeed working on getting us to hate on muslims as a whole. Polarisation works for them. We're only aiding them in their cause by treating moderate and normal muslims as people that wanna try to take over your country with sharia law.

 

There's tolerance, and then there's being completely blind towards the threat from a fundamentally fanatical race that worships a literal doctrine of oppression, bloodshed, war, and world domination.

 

I'm trying to remember if I hate dogs that have rabies and what to do about them. Hmmmm. Nope don't hate 'em. Just need 'em dealt with.

 

As I say the politics of hate - Muslims are a ‘race’ that need to be ‘put down’ like rabid dogs, in other words you want to kill a race, you’d support genocide.

You step so easily into such extremist thinking becoming in effect the thing you claim to despise.

I agree, you did not say it (and I am certain you do not target all muslims just wanna be sure others do notice that), it just sometimes seems like it when your post happen to be right after one of someone else and it reads like you are agreeing with that, in this case it was relaxxx: it's more like relaxxx is saying something like hey everyone who is muslim has got to be fundamentalistic because of the stuff that's part of their religion, and thus a threat to our society. While all he has to realize is that most muslims have never been busy with killing infidels or dream of doing such a thing. That the majority of victims of fundamentalistic violence in the middle east are muslim themselves.

The problem is not islam or the immigration of people that happen to be muslim to your country. The problem are the extremists. When people are agitating against islam and muslims without being specific enough they are serving extremists and are actually part of the problem.

 

Yes Islam IS a problem because it will ALWAYS generate a percentage of extremists, ALWAYS. The European Muslims were the refugees escaping extremism in the middle east. And what did they do in Europe? BREED EXTREMISTS!

You are not being constructive in any way when you say stuff like that. You mean it and you are fully entitled to your opinion (like you need me to say that ) but you have to understand you are serving islamic extremists by speaking out your dislike of islam in general like that. So how useful will your expressed (and kind of extremist) opinion be.... and for who? Just saying.... I am not against you having your opinion, but voicing it like that is making you and people like you part of the problem.

 

Humans are certainly a cancer if they can't recognize, safeguard and treat against diseased 'cells'.

 

From a certain perspective humans CAN be seen as a cancer and nothing others will say can make that seem false if one truly believes that. But that doesnt mean you are constructive in any way by voicing that. Or even right at all
