Barefoot land surfer that’s great you are building up to the weather so you can go barefoot in December. Once you do it’s great walking barefoot in the snow and cold . You will get looks like you’re crazy I do I even have some people ask me if I need help but when I tell them they are like wow . But I know you will do better them last winter because you are building up to it.

 

Thanks barefoot Rick. I already got a look and comment from an elderly woman yesterday who saw me walking barefoot in the chilly air. She asked me if my feet were cold and I said, "No, they're fine." Besides building up to the cold weather, keeping the body and feet moving also seems key to keeping the feet warm enough. How long of a walk do you go for in the snow?

 

Barefoot land surfer I can walk up to 4 miles I do go for walks in the snow and the trails I go walking on they do get the snow removed but not all the time so I do walk in snow up to and pass my ankles and I do encounter ice on the trails. But I have notice just as long as I keep my core warm and my legs warm I can walk up to 4 miles. I use to go deer hunting barefoot I even had someone call the fish and game on me . And the fish and game did find me and ask me questions why I’m barefoot and I told them why and I know that there is no law that states that a hunter must wear boot or shoes while hunting. But I know you will have more fun and you will feel great that you can go barefoot in the snow and your bare feet can handle the cold like you are wear shoes

 

Today I was out and about so I went to quick quack car wash and washed my truck and yes I was barefoot after drying my truck and vacuumed it out I got ready to go and I just happened to look at my bare feet and wow my bare feet were black I just love when my feet are black

Phone cameras make things brighter. They were pretty dark. I would not walk in the house without flip flops to save my carpets.

 

After my morning walk today in pleasant, sunny 37 degrees F weather.

I’m wishing everybody a happy barefoot thanksgiving. I’m outside smoking a turkey

It snowed here on Monday and a little on Tuesday and the temperature today or this morning was in the teens I had to go and get some gas in my truck and as I was filling up the guy behind me ask me isn’t it to cold to be barefoot I said no he shook his head and said you must be on drugs . I said no I’m not I’m just a barefooter I don’t like wearing shoes or socks. The next thing I knew he was on his phone . I filled up and drove off and as I pulled in to my driveway and got to my front door there was a police officer asking me if he could talk to me so I said yes and all of this is because of that one guy at the gas station he told them that I must be on drugs and I was acting funny . After talking to the officer and me telling him that I’m a barefoot and I don’t wear shoes or socks and my neighbor that just got home I told the officer talk to him and is wife and they told the police officer yes he never wears shoes or socks he is always barefoot all year around and that they have lived next to me for 20 years and they have never seen me wearing shoes . After all that the officer said ok it’s just Weird to see someone going barefoot this time of year. The officer left and I said thanks to my neighbor and went in my house what a day .

 

When will people learn to mind their own damned business? Just one of the reasons I am a recluse.

 

I wouldn't have talked to the cop at all.

I would maybe say "I want a lawyer present".

 

I wish people would except the barefoot lifestyle . That the barefoot lifestyle is a great lifestyle and it health benefits that come with going barefoot. And it doesn’t hurt no body I wish the people that say it’s bad would just give it a try go barefoot for 6 months to a year then put on shoes and see what feels better wearing shoes or being barefoot??
