Sex with friends- how do you feel?

Personally, it would be difficult for me to be intimate with a total stranger. The fact that I'm a virgin is also contributing to the way I feel about this too, I'm very sure of it. But in any case, I'd really prefer if there was a decent level of emotional connection established prior to getting intimate with someone. Under the right circumstances, I have friends I'd be honoured to share my first time sex experience with. They aren't just good looking, hot, sexy, blah blah... Well, they are beautiful, yes. But their beauty is not just physical. They are beautiful as people. I'd much rather lose my virginity to one of them than some total stranger.

Ok, so after I lost my virginity? Hmm.... Pretty much the same thing. I shan't say never to one night stands, I might experience one or two such instances in the future, who knows... But I know I'll always prefer building a decent level of emotional connection before getting intimate with someone. The whole trust issue precisely. You have to be able to trust your partner especially since we're talking sex.

Don't expect to things happen between you, sorry. But if it happens it won't last like those bullshit relationships you can be sure of that

 

Because you know that a stranger is not gonna know who you both know and therefore will not tell. YOU, as a friend, will have mutual friends and will confide in them about your sexual encounters. I wouldn't care either way and have had friends I would do in a heartbeat and wanted to but was afraid it would change the dynamics of the relationship.:love:

I think you misunderstood the question. The choice is having no-strings sex with a friend, presumably outside of any romance. Essentially, a fuck-buddy. As far as I can tell, no one here has proposed sex with a stranger.

And, agreed, the first time you have sex should probably not be with a stranger. Not a good idea.

 

I had a fuck buddy of sorts. It was every now and then, and I enjoyed it.
Then she got a boyfriend - so that had to stop immediately obviously.

All good though, as I have a girlfriend, so the sex comes from there.

Friends. I like to know I'm safe and prefer the familiar. I have had one night stands with strangers but I always felt more guarded and uneasy. Where whenever I've gone to bed with a friend it always been relaxed and fun.

Could be he's insecure. Maybe he's afraid, if things don't go well. He could lose you as a friend.

 

Sex with friends has worked out well for me, there's a high chance your friend enjoys sex and bringing it up may be awkward, but hey, if the answer is yes you've got awesome sex with a person you know and trust!
