Post menopausal women experience a drop in estrogen and a rise in androgens, which in many cases causes older women to be more sexual. A note about estrogen: it is the catalyst for bone/calcium retention in young women so post menopausal women should have a bone density test occasionally and consult with their physician. The problem with many men post 60 is a loss of erectile function from decrease to actual loss due to many factors, blood pressure medications as one. Many older men also experience prostate issues. Some men have no problems at all. Sexuality does not stop at 65. It can actually continue way past 65!
