OK got a buncha stuff to say so pay attention 1st condoms are fairly affective yet not 100% always i was in a simular situation many years ago....it turned out sdhe was preg.. i didntt freak out & i supported her in whatever she decided to do.. but it turned out it wasn';t mine..she had been offered a free tatoo at a local tatoo parlor..& the tat artist had raped her.. she wastoo ashamed to tell anyone, but when the dr had told her how many days shed been preg she knew it had been from that..& decided to have an abortion..i still offered to help.. but she refused i know ya dont want to concider that as a possibility.. but it does happen..& very few unfortunately ever tell anyone.,, but thats not really likely whatt your dealling with. just a possible answer to how could it happen..& if it is..dont blame her or love her less..its not her failt! ok notw that that unpleasant subjects been mentioned on to the more likely streess..physical or emotional womens periods even those that are usuay rock steady can be affected by many many things..diet, i;;ness stress.. all can have huge affects..i know 1 girl with an eatting disorder..she hadnt had her period in 4 months..and shes a vrgin the combination of stress & diet really threw her system into chaos.. 8 days late isnt all that uncommon.. in fact many women who dont have regular priods can fluctuate by more then that its also possibe that if shes been hanging out with a few powerful women..theres a phenomena thats not easily explained.. but when in the pressence of powerful spiritual & influantial women..theyre cycles tend to sync up..her cycle might just be adjusting to match someones whho has influenced her.. medications..histeria..strss all thse things can cause hormonal changes affecting her cycles....dont stress till you test (oh wait..youtr testing today arent you?) if..indeed..she is perfect..why worry about it? wouldnt you want it sooner or later? you might be getting the best gift you can imagine..
I have also missed my period twice before, thought I was pregnant, took the test, nope, not at all. Third times a charm though. Hehe, Last time I missed my period, I really was pregnant! Due in November. Namaste Francine
Hehe, thank you so much. I know you're a rainbow (read your posts), and turns out the only people who have said Congratulations to me have been rainbows (I went to the WV gathering, loved it, but left because my partner thought he was going to swrivel up and die in all the rain) Everybody else in the 'real' world has given me more crap than you can imagine, my partner included. Thank you, you don't know what that means to me. Namaste Francine
So your girlfriend tells you that's she's eight days overdue for her period. You say that the two of you have had sex only three times and that you've used a condom each time. "How could the condom not work???" you ask. First of all, DON'T PANIC. It's not unusual for a teenaged girl to miss her period and NOT be pregnant. In fact, it's rather commonplace. It's when your girlfriend misses two periods in a row that the two of you really have to be concerned about a pregnancy. Having said that, we nonetheless can't rule out the possibility that at least one of the condoms you used broke. Did you check to see that the condom remained intact? There is a one-in-10 chance that the condom you used broke -- and you might not have felt it breaking. Was your condom made of latex, polyurethane or lambskin? If you used lambskin condoms, the odds of breakage are better than 50-50 (Many states have even banned lambskin condoms because they're so fragile). Polyurethane condoms are the strongest, but they're also the most expensive and least available. Did you use a lubricant? If so, was it oil-based or water-based? Oil-based lubes break down latex condoms, increasing the risk of breakage. You say your parents "will KILL me" if they find out that you got your girlfriend pregnant. Who are your parents, the Sopranos? Are they really THAT puritanical? Or is your relationship with your girlfriend a secret from your parents? Right now, you don't know if your girlfriend is actually pregnant or not. The only way SHE can find out is to take a pregnancy test. The most reliable over-the-counter test available is the EPT test. But regardless of what home-pregnancy test she uses, your girlfriend has to see a doctor in order to either confirm or deny the pregnancy. Is there a Planned Parenthood office in your area? If there is, urge your girlfriend to go there. -- Skeeter
I can understand what you are feeling. Just try to think logically about it. You used condoms (use double protection like birth control) and she is under stress. It is okay to be late for periods.
My "condom" child, hehe. One of the best things that ever happened to me. He turned 18 this May and graduated this June.
Just stay calm. I've been through this. I've gotten through this many times thinking,Tell her not to stress over it to much, Sometimes, They just worry and stresses them out, therefore, it holds off the bleeding. "Don't worry. You'll bleed eventually." -- Tell her to think that way. It's worked plenty of times, and if she is pregnant.. I'll help you. Don't worry.
Got a wife in Chino, baby one in cherokee first one says she got my child but it don't look like me LOL, jk trying to lighten up the mood a little. There are all sorts of things for you to do even if she is, and besides, girls are late all the time. Just remember to do a paternity test if she is...
hey man no biggie, i've been late so many times before. i used to freak out about it, and always jump to conclusions, take my word for it don't panic, don't stress, and don't lose any sleep pver this! i mean it's normal to be scared and confused, but if she is, then what's done is done. there's really no point kicking yourselves over something that already happened. it will only make the setuation worst...being late doesn't necessarily mean shes pregnant, there could be a ton of other reasons for it, a major one being stress, another one being not meeting all the nutritional needs, another being some sort of change in her body (change in diet, lack of sleep, starting new medication, etc...) and alot more reaons. do not jump to any conclusions, and worry yourselves. Peace
