Thanks for bringing this back up to the top. I was not here last year when the thread started. I make jewelry and have a bunch of copper wire. I wanted to spiral some and hammer then make into a bracelet. You have me inspired to get to that project. Nice work.

 

I absolutely ADORE copper. Been drawn to it ever since I can remember. Not sure why. Love everything I've seen here, especially those bright hammered copper bowls. There's just something about that color...

 

Same here. I really like copper. Silver is my favorite metal, the copper. I have no use for gold. Copper has a nice warmth to it that I like. Joe has some pretty cool things posted here.

I made this for a friend that did me a favor. Just finised it yesterday. Waiting for the paint to dry.

I don't sell much right now. I mostly make it for gifts a potlatches .
We are in the process of putting up a build so we can have a dedicated place for making art. So many a year down the rode I maybe able to make enough to sell.

Potlatchs are a native celebration for many different reasons including weddings, memorials, name givings, and sometimes just to show you're a Chief.
