David Cameron said this, and David Cameron said that. David Cameron will say anything to get your vote. David Cameon is green? As far as I'm concerned there is only "one" political party which is green, and that is the Green Party. The Tories will get rid of ID cards? Mou ha haah haha hah ha! Dream on, young lovers!
Well ID cards won't have been made compulsory by the next election. I expect if the Tories win they simply won't impliment them. They're a pointless waste of money, I can't see it being in Conservative interests to push ahead with a reckless Labour policy....
I will not be carrying any ID card, whatever the consequences. I know who I am and I don't feel that I need to prove this to anybody! Besides - I think that too much time and money is put into censoring and restricting people where it should be used to educate and embrace. Sentient, I will gladly join you outside parliament to make my opinion known!
I feel we should all wear rfid tags and that there should be those detector thingys every 10 metres in all directions, then we'd finally find out who is to blame for all this chaos!
Tell you what, Harry, you wear your dogtag with pride, and the rest of us will stand in the pub and watch to see if any terrorists attack.
Actually its the reason I dont carry a mobile phone or a mp3 and my digital camera isnt wireless in any way shape or form. If you dont want people to track you on your mobile, I would suggest that you give a false name when you purchase it with cash and do PAYG - I also recommend taking the battery out when you are somewhere you dont want to be tracked. Get paranoid its what the state wants you to be, or dont get paranoid and accept their tags -its what they want you to do. its up to you accept their paranoia, or their tags, or pull the fuckers onto the lawns of parliament and take over london and the country. Since the last one wont happen, I'm gonna have a nice creammy dollop of paranoia
The home secretary announced last week that the ID cards WILL DEFINITELY now be used to track unsolved crimes and not just serious ones. The card is set to be a very high value source of income and the home office just acknowledged that
ok heres a proposal to anyone who says we need ID cards. Lets suppose there were a hand and fingerprint scanner that was portable and the police could carry it around - then everyone who is legally allowed to be in this cvountry has their prints scanned - no other details are recorded other than that the person is legally entitled to be in the uk. - no other details whatsoever - now that would seem to be a fair compromise wouldnt it ??? - people who are not legally meant to be here would not have had their prints scanned and would be deported - maybe if we made it a legal requirement that anyone entering a bus or train had to scan their prints
