Like someone before, I used to be a member of the Church of Satan. (Wierd, my membership fee was only $100.) I can tell you for a fact that the LaVey Satanists do NOT preform sacrefices. I can also tell you that MOST (as you say it) Wiccans do NOT preform sacrefices. If you were to honestly research it, you would understand that animals are sacred to most Pagans. There are some sects of witches that do sacrefice, but thoes are not Wiccans. Get your facts straight.
I did study...a lot. In fact, there's this place called 'the castle' near where I live. A place where wiccans and Satanists meet. It's disgusting, there were pwple walking around with animal heads over them... Yes, many animals are sacred to most pagans. But I know a wiccan who did a blood sacrifice (said he won't do it again, though) of a squirral. Squirrals aren't sacrad to them.
First off, learn how to spell. Secondly, you think because one ignorant fuck sacrifices something it makes it an unsacred animal to all of the religion?
I am a pagan and I do NOT nor do any other pagans i know do blood sacrifices. make sure you know what your talking about next time you post a thread :H
I just noticed...you posted that it says to sacrefice in thier "Bible?" So...where is it in this bible? I own three copies of the Satanic Bible. Where is it? Or, perhaps ar you talking about the Black Book of Lucifer (which is about real devil worship - not LaVey). I have a copy of that - once again, where is it in there?
Anyone who goes to a red cross blood drive and sacrifices their blood is a Satanist. It says "Do you pledge your soul to Satan?" on the pamphlet they give you.
I don't know where. Need to look it up, all I know is that my ex-Satanist friend was talking about it once.
When we Satanists grow up, we usually call ourselves secular humanists. But its the same thing. There s no god. I worship man. People are the only thing worthy of our fate.
Animals are cool, we should take care of them, but they certainly don't deserve reverence. Our lack of need for 'god' proves we can be gods ourselves. Hail Nietzsche.
Quite true. And your statement about Secular Humanist is very true. It's the exact same thing without all the props.
Of course we are. We've become so much more then our idea of 'god' has ever been. Last week some people at MIT created a form of matter that doesn't exist. They created a new state of matter. http://web.mit.edu/newsoffice/2005/matter.html We've also created elements that don't exist in nature. In a few years we'll have quantum computers that hold more information then is physically possible to hold in the space they have. We've surpassed god. Even if there was a 'god' we can know do things he could not. And it will proceed much more rapidly in the next few centuries. God is irrelevant now. But there never was... we're just a random fluke of evolution that attained godliness. Thats so much more beautiful then god. My username, Lodui, means one who usurps the righteous path. Hail Satan. Of course theres no Satan. No little red guy with horns waiting to poke 'ya if you're naughty after 'ya die. Satan is the symbol of the serpant, who rebeled aginst his creator, even though it would mean his being cast into hell, to give us the chance to eat the fruit of knowledge. Why would god keep the fruit of knowledge from us? Fear, god was afraid of what we would become, so he kept knowledge from us, but the angel lucifer risked everything to give us a chance to become gods. Satan was the hero of the bible. And the most heroic person ever displayed in fiction, that is why I'm a satanist. The angel lucifer faced perdition if he gave humanity the chance to redem itself through knowledge... But he gave us the oppurtunity anyway... and Adam accepted. Satan was willing to accept an eternity in darkness to give humanity a chance for enlightenment. Now to honor him we must acheive our true potential.
