If I get that drunk, I dunno if I'll be able to work a camera.

Crying is good. I do it a lot.

Actually I put in two l's at first, then thought it didn't look right.

You mean the little red-hot envelopes?

    Who is CPK?

Not really a "New Years Resolution" but more of an attempt at fixing the things I can't stand about myself...

Tonight, we visited a local family-run restaurant that used to only serve breakfast but has now expanded to lunch and tonight was the "trial run" of Friday night dinners...

I have to admit, it was really nice going to one of the local places-supporting the local business and reuniting with a lot of people I haven't seen in quite some time.

Sitting here in a motel room with Erin and Spooky... They have both been checked out by the vet and they are fine. Seems Erin was quite the celebrity at the Humane Society. Some lady at the vet's office wouldn't let me pay, she said it was the least she could do...

Touching how people reach out like that.

I ordered a new bible, in replace of the one i was given, i have never bought a bible in my life, never thought i would. One i had was small tiny did not like international version....So i got..King James version Deluxe edition... this damn thing is 11inches tall, big font inside...can't believe i bought this lol...

So i read first page and then see what page the bookmark is on as it comes with one attached. I open it up and its in the book of Deuteronomy and the first word i see is my name....oh how convenient..

That brought tears to my eyes again.

Cool, I want to eat them too!

Oh jeezus, that's the stinkin universe trying to pull you in. King James, my God! So you like 15th-century English? Well there are still lots of folks who think God speaks King James English, so you're in good company.

    Oh, she sounds delicious!

    I want some...

I met an angel on the train tonight. She's beautiful and fun and cute as hell, and she invited me to come to a local dance joint tomorrow night and meet her friends and dance and drink, and she asked for my phone number and said she was going to text me.

And then I woke up. :)

No I didn't, it really and actually happened. Well she's married, of course. But I'll bet she has pretty friends...

When I wanted to read the bible, I like the one with the side-by-side different versions.

    I found it.

It's called the parallel bible. It was pretty interesting.

I imagine God has a thing like Dr Who's tardis that can translate anything into the proper dialect and language.

Wow, did I just show my inner geek for a second there or what?!

For verily it is said, ye shall know the truth and the truth will set you free. :)

Or of course you could always read the original manuscripts in Koine Greek and Aramaic and figure out your OWN translation. If you had any real bollocks, I mean. :)

My kids just discovered Dr Who recently and have been checking out every old episode they could find from the library. I have always loved the theme song for that show.

I waited a while and then went back for seconds on the stew.

You might like it if you like cabbage.

I cut up two lengths of beef smoked sausage in a skillet and browned them in a little oil with lots of garlic, onion, and bell pepper.

The stock was a weak beef broth and some butter. I seasoned it with salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

I added all that together with a head of chopped cabbage and five potatoes chunked up.

After it was stewed, I added a cap full of homemade pepper sauce to the bowl before eating.

OMG delish to me and hubby.

I had a man to do that for me. I had a boyfriend who was a brilliant messianic-jewish pastor. He did a lot of study of older texts and did translations.

I would like to read the whole bible from start to finish...no idea why, just to say that i did?

I don't believe it would 'change' my faith or anything of that kind.

It's pretty interesting if you're at a time in your life where you feel like you want to.
