They have some new strawberry beer I wanted to give a shot. If it's not overbearing, I think It'll rock.

Bottled Newcastle is a bit sweet, but on draft at the few places that I drink it.....it is delish. It's a bit deeper, more flavorful, and not near as sweet as its bottled brother.

Most of the beer I drink comes from a micro brew here in Louisville called Cumberland Brews. You can buy and refill half gallon jugs for 8 bucks, and they have the best brew in town. If I buy beer in the store, it will either be Killians, Harps, Amber Bock, Blue Moon, or some random mystery beer that I haven't tried before.

I've had Strawberry meade before, but it was a little much. Although when mixed with honey meade it was wonderful. I've even had the strawberry meade mixed with a blue moon type of microbrew and it was pretty good.

i knew the lack of strawberry flavor in the strawberry beer would be the selling point for you.

I don't particularly like the Abita beers I've tried... yet it has been a while and I guess I could give them another shot.

Newcastle out of the tap could be interesting too.

I almost bought Blazing Saddles last night because I haven't seen it in a good couple of months, but instead I bought 20 Kung Fu movies on 8 CDs for 10$ :D. Watched one of them with my friends last night... it was cheesy, cheap, and awesome.

There's an actor in one of them called Bruce Li... apparently he looks and acts just like Bruce Lee... should be fascinating.

    Toooooooo....damn....sweet....

Bruce Li is one of the best Bruce Lee impersenators. I think a couple of his movies had Bruce Lee on the cover.

I'd take Dragon Lee over Bruce Li I believe.

blazing saddles is awesome but it sounds like you got more bang for your buck. bruce li is something of a sensation in wisconsin. the sweetness of newcastle never has bothered me, but maybe it's because it's not sweet at all in comparison to leinenkugel sunset wheat, which, for all intents and purposes, tastes like fruity pebbles.

i usually go to the drafthouse on lamar or occasionally the ritz on 6th. i live off of SOCO, so i'm a southie, ya know?

    no sam adams tonight.

today i just had hobgoblin for the first time, though. it was pretty decent, a bit heavier than i was in the mood for (it was a moderately warm early spring afternoon....honestly a kolsch would have done me better i think)

i have a bottle of my favorite for tonight....foret! i'll probably get something super cheap to supplement it with.

i think i work tomorrow, so i wont open it tonight, but i got me a 5 liter minikeg of spaten munchner hell, which is one of my favorite beers when it comes to a simple, crisp, clean golden lager.

i do not work the next two days after tomorrow, though, so i'll probably open it tomorrow night after work and have myself a ball.

    I really like Hobgoblin.

I'm gonna get New Belgium's 1554 if I go to the store today.

I do have a bottle of some cheap-ass california Cab Sav that I might drink tonight.
