it would be a short story to me. i read well over 25 pages an hour, and thats a conservative number, because i dont like to brag. and my retention is awesome.

ive never been a big reader... I want to like reading but I cant

I literally zone out and start thinking about other things as I read.. ill be half way through a page then suddenly ill be day dreaming about something else as my eyes still skim over the words but retain nothing...

every time we had to read novels in class, id download the audio book online, put it on my ipod, then just listen to it in class while holding the book infront of me pretending to read

today I drove into a swat team .. You sound exactly like my son...who is very smart...and determined not to read anything that doesn't involve cars. He doesn't even like reading a newspaper. Reading stuff online is, to my knowledge, the most he reads outside of car stuff.

He is very good with numbers...but on the SATs he scored higher on English/reading than math.

I'm like Mother's Love - addicted to reading. I have to have a book I'm reading on at all times.

I hate English... "How would you classify this piece of writing? Is it a story, essay, memoir, poem, or prose poem?" what kind of question is this, its like a billion pages long, obviously its a fucking story, almost a novel!

I'm half way through it and I don't even know what its about, so maybe it is a poem?! There were eskimos... but they were in england.. and there was a house fire, can igloos catch on fire? Thats all I got from this story... they talk a lot about cats...
