how about living a generally healthy lifestyle with an equal amount of good food and NORMAL exercising-including some cardio and some yoga. Life is about balance. Cut out carbs and you will be VERY unbalanced.
Get a bicycle like said by other peeps in this thread! It doesn't take a toll on your knees or ankles and you move faster so you see more scenery and this makes it also a bit less boring in my opinion. And a portable music player is also good, except in my case: it's too distracting when I'm on a bicycle (plus like to hear sounds from my surroundings as well)
Yes,running in home alone is boring for every one. Run outdoors; if you can run outdoors instead of running indoors on your treadmill, you will be able to get some fresh inspiring air when jogging and you will also get to enjoy the scenery of the beautiful parts of your town or city.
