just bring a 24 pack of water bottles like Aquafina, it's cheap, or those jugs that cost 75 cents a gallon. No big deal. I left my 24 pack of water bottles out by my van if anyone wanted one they could take it. Maybe a few did, it was fine with me. no worries. At Coventry tho, I left my beer cooler out, not even caring if someone took one or two. But some asshole did (I didn't even miss the beer) but then they LEFT MY COOLER LID AJAR, wasting my precious ice!!! now that was unforgivable. Take a beer but please protect my ice. Ice is what's expensive.

plus bonnaroo is a little different from rough camping because there are no trees to shade the heat. when you are camping out in the wilderness, there are trees everywhere. i wouldn't compare the camping at bonnaroo to real camping at all.

ahh the line up is listed on the website.. dave matthews band? eeeekk! i won't be seeing them.. but modest mouse and the mars volta are playing.. i've only heard one mars volta song and i liked it! what about the dead?! are they not playing bonnaroo again?!

 

Widespread Panic is gonna do two shows..this is gonna be awesome!

 

ok Bonnaroo and no Dead??

I'm SO not going. I knew they were going to fuck it up this year. I mean some of the other bands are really great. But no moe. so far (I think if they were playing they would have signed up already they were great the last 3 years) and no SCI

maybe they will be added and I'm pleased to see Donna the Buffalo (they're a local band around here) and the Allmans being added, but still I just can't see paying what they're asking for tickets and not seeing the Dead.

 

I was bummed not to see The dead on there either. Still though, it's gonna be a good time.

 

seriously... if the dead doesn't play there is no WAY in hell i would pay nearly two hundred dollars to see dave matthews (who's show i would/will skip anyway).. i don't even know much of widespread.. but i like what i have heard.. anyway, no dead no me! and no headymoechick either.

 

There's still gonna be more added to the list..so maybe, just maybe....

 

yeah and adding Joss Stone to the line-up? I thought they weren't going to put any pop princesses on stage!! she might have a bit of soul to her voice, but she's still some little pop icon.

yeah that is true sugarmaggie.. maybe they will give us all what we want and put the god damned dead on the line up.. how SAD.. the dead MADE my first bonnaroo complete. without the dead, bonnaroo would have sucked for me

 

aren't they the ones who started this thing? I mean the were THE BIG headliner the first 3 years! now woth out them, it seems almost pointless. not pointless I guess if your'e really into a lot of the bands listed, but without some of the 'roo alumni, there's just something missing.

 

Besides the Dead, of course..Praxis was my favorite performance there. I didn't see them on there either..

are you guys fucking kidding me? this line-up is amazing! i don't want to hear any bitching because a 40 year old band that has lost all of their talent isn't playing! christ man, i mean the mars volta, iron & wine, 2 nights of panic? this may be the best bonnaroo yet!!! get outside of jambands guys, i love them too, but if you havn't heard the mars volta yet then you need to!!

p.s. - the dead are a bunch of clowns, they need to give it up, seriously, they were great in their day, but its like seeing the doors without jim morrison, its a nostalgia act. go see NEW music
