It's whatever you want to think it don't really matter to most ppl I just felt the way he said that was kinda uncalled for if you have dreidns tht you call balck that's cool but to say calling black ppl what they are seemed kinda wrong IMO but let's leave that at that I wasn't trying to start a fight I just wanted to voice my opinion sorry if you thought I was "instagating" a fight that wasn't my intention

    >end of that convo<

so how about them salas cowboys lol

i've been to asheville before in fact i was there today and the african americans there dont mind being called black and are actually quite nice you make them out to be dicks. but I'm not looking to start a fight im just setting it straight because you make it seem that black people from asheville are stuck up ass holes which a few are but most of them are not.

Well I hit the 1month last night, and the back parts are crazy as hell. I love the texture that my hair has, front and back. Though the 'twists' probably helped slightly. I won't post pics yet, I wanna wait 'til the 2 month mark.

Thankfully they're not losing that much length.

Check out my album and see how much length I lost and how quick it happened. At first I thought I was not going to lose that much but then around 6 months I lost half of my length. I am really curious as to how they will start to form with the twists

I'mma be moving in a couple days, so I'll have to post pictures a few weeks shy of 2months. Small progress, but progress none the less. I know, it looks like a hot mess anyhow, lol. Oh and I was stupid to say they aren't losing length, haha.

I woke up this morning to see that the Squiggly 'S' tips on some were starting to get sucked up into the body of the dread which is cool

Thank you, and yeah it's pretty cool to not worry if I'm being to 'rough' with them like when I first started. I'll see when the next time I can post is, which is probably in a few months. Can't wait

Jeez everytime I look at that 1st pic, I want to take it down because it's so rediculous looking, haha. Anyhow I had about 10 less than pencil thin hair that were grouping together, and I hated them. Well took two sections each and put a bead at the roots, and palmrolled a bit, and tried my best to make them knot together. Now my hair feels 'fuller' which is really good.

I was having doubts about my hair because I kept thinking it seemed like I had about 10 dreads on my head and it made me sad, because I had wanted some like Ozzy or Luxie, but after I did this, I caught myself off guard, and saw how they were coming together. It's like a relief from all of the stress I had recently. And I'm glad you guys were here for me, for all of the support. It really, really does help.

Its great in that Weird Al sort of way.

    :)

    Great progress, as well.

(just to add for no particular reason-feel free to disregard-
I was in a class a few years back, and this one kid was presenting a project, something about Caribbean people. He called them 'African Americans' the entire duration of his presentation and it pissed me off. Political correctness sucks when you don't know what the hell you are talking about. Thank you for your time.)
