Yeah your right. It is sad to see someone die, I guess it is just how blown up it gets when a celebrity dies. There is just so much more in this world that gets overlooked

    Children and hunger

Children are the most visible victims of undernutrition. Children who are poorly nourished suffer up to 160 days of illness each year. Poor nutrition plays a role in at least half of the 10.9 million child deaths each year--five million deaths. Undernutrition magnifies the effect of every disease, including measles and malaria. The estimated proportions of deaths in which undernutrition is an underlying cause are roughly similar for diarrhea (61%), malaria (57%), pneumonia (52%), and measles (45%) (Black 2003, Bryce 2005). Malnutrition can also be caused by diseases, such as the diseases that cause diarrhea, by reducing the body's ability to convert food into usable nutrients.

Sorry, the governments and society are failing for these people

The worst offender was yet again for the 11th year in a row is, UNICEF - CEO, receives $1,200,000 per year, (plus use of a Royal Royce for his exclusive use where ever he goes, and an expense account that is rumoured to be well over $150,000.) Only pennies from the actual donations goes to the UNICEF cause (less than $0.14 per dollar of income).

I was unaware that Robin Williams had anything to do with UNICEF and starving children in Africa.

What Lorna said about UNICEF made me wonder about what charities or causes Mr. Williams was involved in. I'd heard there were many.

I found that there was a bunch! And guess what? UNICEF was one of them.. https://www.looktothestars.org/celebrity/robin-williams

If you click on where it sais UNICEF, you'll find boat loads of other stars that have poured who knows how much money into UNICEF.
14 cents on the dollar, huh? Damn!!!

^But that's not why I'm making this post right now.

If memory serves, I called Mr. Williams a 'wealthy man' in this thread.

Then I found this today.. Robin Williams Had ‘Serious Money Troubles’ In Months Before His Death, Claims Friend

I'm not going to quote anything from the above link because the whole thing is read worthy, IMO.

And on top of not wanting to do the Mrs. Doubtfire sequel at all, I read that the woman who played his daughter in the original movie refused to be in the sequel.
