I agree. Coincidentally I spent last night thinking about the best ways to die. I don't remember why but I was thinking about how I would not want to take care of some family member for an indeterminate period of time if they had nothing going for them except having a barely working body and mind. I've seen this happen in my family and I wouldn't want anyone in my family to have to do it to me. I was thinking the best way to die would be in this state of being barely there to begin with. I hope that if anyone is put into my care, I have permission to allow them to die if things get to where they are incapable of basic daily thoughts and processes.

I was unsuccessful at hanging suicide.. yr was 2005 , living in the country house. got a nice grow, fresh girlfriend, less debt than I have now. cant even tell you what was going on in my mind at the time.. I think they call them depression blackouts. memory problems sort of like flashbacks living in a different time period as your are experiencing the same events. squirrel has issues. well this time I cant actually remember I tossed this belt over a ceiling support beam oak in nature, super old farm house. girlfriend didnt know what happened all she heard was a loud thundering noise as 8inx8in piece of timber snapped before my neck did. she come from other room and took off the part around the neck. told me I wasnt responsive. called medics in the middle of the mountains. I become awake some point in time and escaped out the back door when medics arrived a state police helicopter was dispatched to find me in the game lands in the middle of the night. like some rambo figure my mental state took . I was under the influence of alcohol, trazadone, xyprexa, caffeine, cannabis, nicotine and thats about it. I eventually began to walk on an open road where I was picked up without incident by some trooper that took me to the vahospital. then some dickwad indian doctor talked out his ass. I took some atavans and went home in a few days. the oak beam .there is no way it should of broken the way it did. Ive done pull ups on this lumber. it was like a log going across the ceiling. its near impossible for something like that to break in the middle with such little weight. .. true story told this sometime ago in the land of lost forum.

You know what that means, I'm sure. You can look at it a couple or a few different ways but it obviously means that someone or something was looking out for you ... even if you see it as fate was looking out for you, that your time wasn't done here yet.
If that were me i'm sure i'd use that in my head as yet another example of a time where I've been kept safe under really bad odds.

anyways, hopefully you haven't gotten any of those depression blackouts for a very, very long time. I may even know kinda what you mean by that as there is a few month to a year time period for me from way, way, way younger that is cloudy in a strange way- a time that a bunch of bad shit happened.

The depression blackouts you speak of, are also well-known symptoms of ptsd. I found this site on the night I was closest to suicide, about 11 years ago...actually. It gave me hope way back then. :)

    Thanks for sharing orison.

zyprexa has some really bad side effects. Maybe it contributed to your black outs

Trazadone can do some CRAZY things as well too. They give it to people to sleep in rehab all the time and if you stay awake on it it makes you quite.....weird...

Oak, Hickory, and Dogwood are probably the hardest known woods outside of the exotic woods like Rose & Ebony; you should consider yourself very fortunate to be alive [IMG]

I had good memories of Goodwill Hunting, but I went back and re-watched it today and the whole movie made me cringe from start to finish.
The smart-guy bar fight at the beginning was downright embarrassing. It's a very 90s movie in all the wrong ways.

In his 2001 broadway and tour that year. In part of his act he talks about going to the zoo and meeting koko.

    Damn funny.

Robin being hairy himself... "ive gone to the zoo and monkeys look at me like... 'what ya doin out man', HERE TAKE THIS TO KENYA TELL THEM WE STILL ALIVE!"

"well.. when a 400lb gorilla got ya by the tits ya listen!"

    Parkinsons as well though now.

One of the factors maybe, and I get that, going through your life knowing you are smarter than everyone else ;) , only for your brain to turn to mush and you are headed to turn into a vegetable
