I speak Hinglish. I just need more hindi vocab, living here I don't speak it much and I'm not getting new vocab. I'ma taking a french a level and hindi gcse though, hopefully. That should help.
Nope. Well, I listen to it, I think it in my head but I feel so foreign speaking it with my parents. I talk to my grandfather on the phone though... I do occasionally talk in hindi for a bit, but my lack of vocab'll soon get to me and I'll give up again. English is my no.1 actually, I'm scraping B's and I need to get to A/A*. How many languages do you speak? I know you speak german, italian, english and croatian.
Hindi sounds so exotic and interesting and unusual. You should definitely learn it properly. And yeah...German, English, Serbo-Croatian and very basic Italian
Maybe for you, for me it's more home and duty, the motherland n patriotism and that kind of stuff. It's not even like I can speak to the other indians in my school in hindi - they're gujurati and know barely any. EDIT: Esperanto'd be a cool language to learn though. Language of pirates! ARR! it is because i say it is.
