age doesnt matter unless you make it matter. what matters is maturity.

but some people will judge you. i recently have lost one of my oldest friends cause she told me i'm desperate and pathetic and a criminal for hanging out with a 17 year old guy a lot. so you'll have people to deal with. but if you like each other, thats what matters.

and psyche, well.... I can't see myself dating anyone under 17 right now. But that's just me, and I'm a crotchety old bitch at heart. Like others have said, be careful... people around that age may seem mature but they do often have random spurts of immaturity. One of my friends is 17 and she still does that... a lot. in infuriating amounts, actually. Maybe she's just damn immature. anywho..

yeah age can be thrown out the window...what matters more to me is if we are at the same stage in life or close enough that we can relate in some way.....more importantly then that is how you feel about the person...if the feelings are strong enough you will make it work.

it's funny. she's not so worried about her mom not being cool with us as she's worried her mom will want to be best buddies with me. her ma's a bellydancer, you see, and apparently knows who i am, or has at least seen me in passing a number of times. that's how my potential girlie got in contact with me actually, originally just to tell me that she's seen me dance like 9340539405 times and that she thought i was awesome. and i was all hey, lets hang out.. seee, bellydancing totally DOES get you all the chicks! thanks for the well wishes, i'm happy to have someone in my life again after what happened with my ex...

belly dancing definately gets you chicks but it is easy for me...i poke my belly and it dances for a minute then it stops and i poke it again.
